Hi, I'm Licorice! I came to the shelter as a stray, but I quickly showed everyone that the outdoor life just isn't for me. I'm a sweet, gentle girl who loves the comforts of a cozy home, a warm spot in the sunshine, and plenty of love from my people.
I'm a very calm, cool, and collected kitty. I don't fuss over much—I prefer to take life at a relaxed pace. Toys haven't really caught my attention because I have much better things to do, like enjoying a good cat nap, soaking up some sunshine, and spending time with the people who care for me. My favorite activities include relaxing, getting gentle pets, and enjoying a good snuggle session.
When it comes to other furry friends, they're just not my cup of tea. I've made it very clear at the shelter that I prefer having my space to myself, as I tend to hiss and growl at both cats and dogs. Because of this, I'd be happiest as the only pet in my new home where I can have all of your love and attention.
I'm looking for a peaceful, cozy home where I can spend my days lounging, being loved, and getting my beautiful coat brushed. If you're searching for a laid-back companion who will bring a little extra calm and sweetness into your life, I might just be the perfect match!
One thing my future family should know is that I have significant dental disease and will likely require extensive dental work in the future. Because of this, my adoption fee has been waived, so I can go home with the right family at no cost. My future dental care will be the responsibility of my adopters, so I'm hoping to find someone who is prepared to give me the medical care I'll need while enjoying all the love and companionship I have to offer.
