Story
This sweetheart of a kitten, has gone through alot in his short life. He came into us in sept with a broken hind leg, weighing in only a bit over 1 kg. We were considering amputation initially but he was too small to go through such a big surgery, so we cage rested him until he got bigger. The cage rest was helping and his bone was slowly forming a callus, which is the bone trying to repair itself. We decided we were happy with the healing process and would give him more time to heal and that he could keep his leg. Fast forward, many weeks and we are medically clearing him for adoption. We do not want him to be an outside cat because their are too many dangers and potential injuries possible. We would also recommend to try to limit him jumping from high heights for the next few months as well. This guy would love to have another animal in the home, he is very gregarious and a big purr monster.

This quiet, gentle cat is searching for a safe and peaceful place to truly feel at home. Naturally shy and reserved, this feline may spend time tucked away, but still carries a quiet longing for comfort and connection. With a patient heart and a calm environment-plus a few tasty treats-this cat will slowly begin to trust and let their personality peek through. It may take time, but the bond you'll build will be well worth the wait. If you're ready to offer love on their terms, visit the Edmonton Humane Society and help this sweet soul find the refuge they deserve-no appointment needed.
