Hello, I'm Stella Joy! I'm a one year old calico girl with breathtakingly bright and beautiful markings that make me impossible to forget. My sister, Sophie Jane, and I were rescued from some very difficult circumstances, and because we didn't have the opportunity to interact with people when we were young, I'm still a bit reserved around humans. I won't be the cat greeting guests at the door or climbing into laps, but I do enjoy the occasional gentle petting when I'm feeling comfortable. Mostly, I'm happy doing my own thing- playing, spending time with my feline friends, and enjoying tasty treats. In fact, treats are one of my favorite things! I have excellent manners and am very easy to live with. What makes me happiest is simply feeling safe and secure. Once I know I'm in a peaceful environment, I'm perfectly content to relax and enjoy life at my own pace. I get along wonderfully with other cats and would fit right into a multi-cat household. Most importantly, I'm deeply bonded with my sister, Sophie Jane. We've been through everything together, and I can't imagine life without her. We're hoping to find a loving home where we can stay together forever. If you're a cat-savvy person who understands that companionship doesn't always look like cuddles and constant interaction, I may be the perfect match.
