Story
Meet Lincoln 🖤 Lincoln, who is 1.5-years-old, is a handsome, short hair black cat with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you’ll discover just how affectionate and devoted he truly is. Lincoln is a gentle, loving companion who enjoys quiet moments and being close to his people. With his calm and easygoing nature, Lincoln is the kind of cat who brings a peaceful presence into any home. He’s sweet, soft-hearted, and simply a joy to be around. He also seems to do well with other cats, making him a great addition to a multi-cat household. If you’re looking for a kind, loyal companion who will blossom into a loving best friend, Lincoln might just be your perfect match. Lincoln is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Story
MEOW! Hello! My name is Miss Luna, and I am a very special lady. I was rescued outside of Central Plaza during the 113 degree heat wave in July. I almost didn’t make it, I am lucky to be here! My rescuer and the great staff at Alta Vista Veterinary Hospital brought me back from the brink and now I am looking for my forever family. I’m about 16 months old and I think my birthday is on Halloween! I LIKE: -Sleeping in my dark, comfy space most of the day -Coming out early in the morning for purring snuggles and affection. -Eating smaller portions a few times a day for a healthier lifestyle. I eat a mix of dry food, canned food and water. -I like keeping my litter box orderly. I DON’T LIKE: -Direct sunlight, I prefer darker spaces. It’s too scary outdoors! - I’m a solo girl for now but I’m learning new things.
