Story
Fluffy is an adorable medium hair brown tabby who is sweet, affectionate and cuddly. He was born 10/3/23. He likes to play, but his real love is being with people and having his soft fur petted all day. Fluffy and his brother Turbo (listed separately) originally came to UAF from a shelter in NM, and were adopted by a loving family who adored the kittens. Unfortunately, the family dog became obsessed with the kittens, and the family determined that they needed to find a new home for the kittens so that they would not be harmed by the dog. These siblings like to snuggle and play together. We would prefer that they be adopted together, but might consider adopting them separately under the right circumstances. He is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If a kitten is adopted and taken home before the required set of kitten vaccinations is completed, the adopter will be responsible for completing any of the required vaccinations including a rabies vaccination at 4 months at their own expense. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Story
Turbo loves playing with toys, with his brother Fluffy and with people. Sometimes he will gently nip when he wants to play or get affection, but he is still quite friendly. He may be shy when he first meets someone, but once he is comfortable with them, he is very outgoing with a loud purr. Turbo would best fit a home where he would have a cat playmate. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
WillaBelle was brought to us by a neighbor after her owner passed away. She is currently in a foster home and trying very hard to be brave and start over with new people. Although WillaBelle is shy and hides in the beginning, she is gentle and loves scratches around her ears. WillaBelle is enthusiastic about being petting and has a big purr engine that will let you know that she loves every bit of it. She will need a patient, quiet adult home where she can have lots of time to acclimate and adjust to a new life. WillaBelle might enjoy one friendly cat as a role model. Won't you consider giving this shy, 5-year-old sweetie a loving home. WillaBelle has long, black fur. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Story
Gooby is a very sweet and friendly 3-year-old with expressive eyes that will melt your heart. She enjoys playing with toys and is quite active and social. The shorthair brown tabby is affectionate with adults, but probably would not be comfortable in a household with small children. Gooby needs to be the only cat. She has her toys, a scratching post and a little bed that will go with her to her new home. Gooby is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. Story
Quesadilla is a pretty, short hair tortoiseshell who is sweet but shy and timid. She is 9-years-old. She will need a patient owner to give her time to settle into her new home. Quesadilla, sadly, had to be relinquished due to her owner of 9 years not being able to find housing that would accept her and her housemate. Quesadilla is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (7+ years old) is $75 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.
