Story
Meet Peaches! This lady thoroughly enjoys exploring and relaxing in her foster family’s catio. She occasionally gets in the mood to play, and should a fly enter her airspace, Peaches tracks and catches it with impressive accuracy. Peaches accepts pets but does not want to be picked up and snuggled — she prefers her independence, thank you!Peaches has made a lot of progress in her foster home with LG. She once communicated affection with her teeth, but she has learned what “no nibbles” means and found better ways to express herself. She takes her time getting to know people and needs someone willing to let their relationship develop on her terms. Earn her trust, and one day she may just reward you by relaxing nearby with her tummy on display!Peaches would be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates an independent cat and finds it rewarding to earn a cautious kitty’s trust. If she sounds like the right cat for you, please complete an application. If approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet between you and her!Our adoption package includes:spay/neuter (when age appropriate)microchipfull vetting (including up to date vaccinations & deworming)FIV/FeLV testingTo see more of our cats & kittens, check us out on Instagram! @catsofhocohumane

Story
Meet Seaweed, aka “Sir Barnacle”!  Looking for a big, handsome guy who will happily stick by your side? Allow me to introduce myself—I’m Seaweed, but my foster family affectionately calls me Sir Barnacle. I’m the biggest of the litter and a total teddy bear at heart. My favorite place to be is right next to you, snuggled up against your side like your very own personal barnacle. Once I’ve found my favorite human, I’m perfectly happy staying close! And did I mention I’m handsome? I’ve got an adorable little bulldog-style walk that makes me even more irresistible. I may be a big boy, but I’m all sweetness and cuddles. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who will happily attach himself to your side, I think you’ve found your perfect match. Swipe right for Sir Barnacle—because everyone needs a cuddle buddy who sticks around! ##2753257##

Story
Sally Catrerra is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. This young momma has already done a big job raising her kittens, and now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s baby. At first, Sally might keep her distance, watching quietly from her safe corner like a little observer with a cautious heart. New places and new people can feel overwhelming for her, so she’ll need a patient human who understands that trust isn’t instant...it’s earned, one gentle moment at a time. But once you’re her person? Everything changes. Sally transforms into the sweetest, most affectionate little shadow. She’ll nudge your hand for attention, demand pets like she’s making up for lost time, and reward you with the loudest, happiest purrs that feel like a tiny engine revving to life. Because she’s still so sensitive, Sally would likely thrive as the only kitty in a calm, quiet home where she can truly relax and blossom at her own pace. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and the patience to let love unfold slowly, Sally Catrerra just might be your perfect co-pilot. ##2671471##

Story
Brooklyn is a tabbico sweetheart who believes life is better with a little extra love. She’s a gentle girl who truly enjoys being doted on and is happiest when she knows she’s safe, loved, and part of the family. She can be a bit cautious when meeting other animals and prefers to take those introductions at her own pace. But with people? Brooklyn has plenty of affection to give. She is a truly special, loving girl she really is. She’s ready for a home where she can settle in and be someone’s beloved companion. Brooklyn may need a little patience at first, but she has so much love waiting to be shared. ##2808062##

Story
Meet Tiggy Beautiful, fluffy, playful, and always ready for a good head scratch! If you’re looking for a gorgeous girl with a soft heart and a playful personality, Tiggy might just be your perfect match! This beautiful long-haired lady knows how to enjoy the good life—especially when it involves getting her head scratched. Tiggy loves being near her people. She may not always be right in your lap, but she wants to be close by, keeping you company and enjoying your presence. And when she’s feeling especially comfortable, don’t be surprised to find her stretched out on her back, snoozing away like she doesn’t have a care in the world. But don’t let her relaxed side fool you—Tiggy is also very playful! She loves her toys and is always ready for a fun play session. As for dogs, Tiggy is tolerant of them. She may occasionally give them a little “hiss, please back up” warning, but she doesn’t attack them. She simply prefers to establish some personal boundaries.  Tiggy is a beautiful combination of sweet, silly, independent, and affectionate. Give her some toys, a cozy place to nap, and plenty of head scratches, and she’ll be one happy girl! Could Tiggy be the fluffy companion you’ve been looking for? Come meet this beautiful girl and see if you’re a match! ##2678414##

Story
My name is Tryphena. It's elegant, unforgettable, and just a little mysterious—kind of like me. I'm a petite adventurer with a curious heart, a playful spirit, and a purr that could melt even the grumpiest human. You'll usually find me chasing toy mice with Olympic-level determination, investigating every cardboard box like it's an archaeological discovery, or napping in a sunbeam as if it's my full-time job. What I'm Looking For:A forever companion who appreciates spontaneous cuddle sessions, never skips treat time, and understands that if I fit, I sit. Someone who laughs when I get the zoomies and doesn't mind sharing their lap whenever I declare it occupied. Strengths:Award-winning biscuit maker          World-class lap warmer            Professional bird-watching enthusiast           Can make any house feel like home Deal Breakers:Vacuum cleaners           Empty food bowls            Being ignored when I'm clearly requesting pets           Thinking laser pointers count as "fair play" My Motto:"Life is short. Chase the toy, take the nap, and always ask for one more treat." Perfect First Date:A feather wand, a handful of treats, a cozy blanket, and a long afternoon of purring side by side. If we end up falling asleep together in a patch of sunshine, I'd call that a perfect match. ##2787522##
