She likes to see other cats outside, but she does not want to personally meet them. . . and maybe she is wise to feel that way! Katherine was declawed on all four paws, and this often leads to behavioral issues, as cats like Katherine don't have a typical mild defense and must resort to biting if they really feel endangered. Because of this vulnerability, Katherine also does not want to be in a home with small children. We are a no-declaw group because we see how the practice leads to this type of harm and trauma, but we do not turn away cats who are already declawed if they need our help. It is not such a bad thing to know what you want in life, and to let others know your feelings if you are displeased. This is a quality we may praise in people but denigrate in cats. We believe there is a place in the world for a cat like Katherine, someone who simply speaks her mind. She has been through amputation, she has been through cohabitation with beings who took her at her disadvantage, and she has been through rehoming. She simply wants peace and acceptance!
