Nelson is a sweet, friendly cat who was living in an abandoned house after his owner was forced to go into a nursing home. His owner paid a neighbor to feed the cats as long as possible. Then the neighbor ran out of food. Now Nelson is warm and safe, but needs his own home. The pictures of the group cats show conditions at the home when he was rescued. Nelson is estimated to be younger than 3 years.

Esmerelda is a super sweet, friendly adult female. She is a big girl (not just chubby, but tall as well) but don't hold that against her. She is approximately 2 years old and loves to be petted on and loved. She gets along good with other cats, dogs, kids, and never sees a stranger. Baby is a 10 week old stray, born in the snow and rescued with her mom and 4 siblings. She has grown up inside with the rest of her family, so she is very playful and friendly both with people and other animals. Since she has been raised inside through the most important period of her development, she would need to remain an inside cat. She is fully litter trained and fully weaned, eating soft and hard food. She has a lot of energy and will play with anything you give her, so she would likely thrive in a home with another young kitten. She also loves to be held and will just take a nap on your chest if you let her. Her mom is ready for a break, and her siblings are finding new homes too, so finding a loving home that can give her plenty of attention is very important now.
