As soon as I saw Steve, I fell in love with Steve. Originally a trapped, outside cat, I ultimately decided that wasn’t the life for him. So here we are now. He’s probably about ten months old and fully vetted. He is as sweet as you can possibly get and really only wants affection. He is currently living in a foster with other cats and dogs and is doing well. You need a Steve in your life. We all do.

He is otherwise affectionate with people and has coexisted peacefully with other cats in the past, but has developed severe aggression episodes triggered by seeing a stray cat near the home. Medical history includes managed hyperthyroidism, hypertension, and arthritis. He receives veterinary care and is stable under treatment, though his medical conditions may contribute to increased irritability and stress. Behaviorally, he is loving toward humans and enjoys a quiet environment. Aggression is situational and trigger-based rather than constant or human-directed. Episodes occur primarily when he observes another cat outside the home and cannot access the perceived threat, leading to redirected aggression toward the resident female cat. Ideal placement would be: - An adult-only household - No other pet - A low-stimulation, quiet environment
