Hello, my name is Sesame! I’m a former mommy who’s ready to be the baby of your family! In May of 2025, on the first 80 degree day in Frankenmuth, somebody dumped me outside Pet Angel in a teeny tiny cage. Next to the cage, they left a rubber maid tote fully closed with my 6 6-week old kittens inside it. When the volunteers showed up for the evening shift, they found us, and quickly brought us inside to safety. Pet Angel named me Sesame, and my 6 babies after Sesame Street Characters (Grover, Elmo, Rocco, Bert, Ernie & Snuffy!) We went off to foster care, where we were safe and sound while I raised and weaned my babies, and we came back to Pet Angel when they were big enough to be without 24 hour care. I was told I was such a good mommy, and I loved being with my kittens. I weaned them, so Pet Angel separated me so my milk could dry up and I could get fixed. I recovered from my spay, got my stitches removed, and got all my shots and an FIV/FELV test done, and now I live in a free roam room with other kitties my age! My sons are getting ready to go up for adoption, but I’m ready to find my own forever home where I can be the baby of the house! I love to play with toys. I zoom around the room after springs and crinkle balls! But when I finally tucker out, I love to test out all the beds to find the softest one to lay on. I am a medium haired cat, so I’m not fully fluffy, but I’m also not fully sleek. My tail however is fluffier than the rest of my body. I’ve been told I am VERY soft when you pet me! I am a big fan of cat treats and wet food, I enjoy wrestling with my roommates Cornelius and Thumbelina, and I like to be inside hidey holes and cat tunnels! I’m on the smaller side for an adult cat, so when humans come directly at me, I get a little freaked out and scurry away. But once you get down at my level, and I realize you’re not coming at me to hurt me, I warm up to you! I love belly rubs, and I like to be brushed! I do have a small health condition, and I am hoping that this does not scare away any potential owners, but helps me find the best family who will give me all the care I may need in my life. In the end of July 2025, one of my kittens Snuffy suddenly passed away. One day he was sick, so Pet Angel took him immediately into the vet, and the next day he was gone. Hi, my name is Vinnie!In November of 2023, I tried to break into the lobby of the Bavarian Inn Lodge! The COO of the Lodge, Jim Engel, is a founder of Pet Angel, so the employees of the Lodge took me to Jim’s office and I spent the day with him, and then he brought me to the rescue! Pet Angel went on a hunt to find my family, and found out that I’ve been a stray cat living on the streets of Frankenmuth most of my life! A family just south of Mobil in Frankenmuth was caring for me as their stray, but weren’t able to bring me inside and keep me, so I become a Pet Angel cat! Pet Angel got me fully vetted, and I’m finally ready to be a housecat! I heard being a house cat is way better than living on the streets, and I’m excited to find my very own (and first ever) home!I love to play! With toys, with people, with strings hanging off your hoodie, and with anyting I can turn into a toy! I love to wrestle with my human friends, and will play with you rough! I enjoy attention, love to rub up against your ankles, and enjoy rolling around on my favorite rug! I love ALL types of cat toys- jingle balls, and yeowww toys, and felt mice, and foil balls, springs and pom poms are some of my favorites! I get very excited when you bring the stick toy out to play with me, because I love to chase after it! I am a big fan of canned food, and love treats VERY much! I am an alpha cat, and like to be dominate, so sometimes I will reach out and grab my human friends when they walk by, so I hope to find humans who can put up with a saucy guy like me!I haven’t met the other kitties at Pet Angel because most of them are shy or have special needs, and I am a cat who likes to wrestle and play. I would likely get along with another cat that would be submissive and like to play, but if you have another alpha cat, we would likely not get along. Since I lived as an outside cat for so long, I had to avoid dogs most of my life, and dogs make me nervous. I would be best suited for a home with no dogs. Additionally, I like to play with my humans and am rough, so I would be best in a home with children over the age 12.I am looking for a strictly indoor only home, with a family who will NEVER let me outside! I love when people wear hoodies with strings, because I love to play with them! I love to be held, and will put my paws right on your shoulder and stay there for far longer than you want to hold me! I like to lay down in cat beds, and enjoy snuggling with my brothers and roommates, but I also like to wrestle them when they’re in the mood! My foster mama used to let me sleep in the hood of her hoodie, so now I love cat hammocks because they’re kind of like a sweatshirt hood. I sleep in the hammock with my belly up! I am outgoing, and want to be around people! I am playful, with both toys, roommates, and people (and shoes- boy, do I love shoes!) and I’m the purrfect kitty- you will just love me! Due to an injury in her past, She currently has a handicap and am on the hunt for a family who can accommodate her handicap and allow her to live life to its fullest!Barbie LOOOOVES to talk, and always has something to say to her human friends! She enjoys getting pets more than anything else in this world, and ALWAYS wants you to pet her- and never stop! She loves catnip toys (yeowww bananas are her favorite) and love to bat at stick toys! She love to adventure around, even with her limp! She is a biiiiig fan of wet food and cat treats! She enjoys her fluffy cat beds, and loves to lay inside hidey holes! She will yell at you if you try!Barbie arrived to Pet Angel in August of 2023 with a broken hind leg from Genessee County Animal Control. They asked Pet Angel to take her because when She arrived to them with a broken leg, their vet believed she would need that leg amputated and GCAC believed Pet Angel would be more equipped to helping her go through leg amputation surgery. Upon arrival to Pet Angel, she went directly to Pet Angel’s vet, who was able to save her leg! Which means, she didn’t have to have it amputated! Instead, she had her leg put into a cast where it had to be completely straight as it healed, and was in that cast for a month! But she got to keep her leg, and that made the hassle of the cast all worth it! After the cast was removed from her leg, Barbie went through Physical Therapy at the vet to begin to use that leg again. At first, she didn’t put any weight on the once-broken-leg at all, but with time, she began using it again! And that’s where her handicap comes in.Right now, Barbie still limps, but does not allow it to limit her life! She jumps up high all the time- and we worry about her when she jumps down! As time goes on and her leg begins to heal, the limp may go away as she regains muscle in the leg. But also, there is a chance that she may have a permanent limp for the rest of her life. So, she is hoping to find a owner who will accept a cat with a limp, and will provide pet staircases in the home so she can still look out windows, lay on the couch, and sleep in bed with you!Barbie does not like other animals, and is looking for a home where she will be the only animal.
