Marble is around 2 years old, 10 pounds Domestic Short Hair. Marble showed up as a stray. No one knew where he had come from. Marble is a very sweet boy, but he is a little stressed here at RCHS. It is alot for some animals when you are use to roaming free and then put in a kennel surrounded by a bunch of other animals. He has not tested well with other cats or dogs, but that could be the stress from the shelter or the fact that he has double ear infections (which he has been treated for now). Given some space and time, Marble could be good with other animals. He just needs to decompress. Please help us find him a home. Olive came from the Humane Society. She was a really good cat, but her behavior has changed drastically since we have had kids. She has hissed at our child and pawed at him when he was only trying to pet her. She also used to be able to hang out in the living room and lay right next to our other cat, but now we almost never see her. She has begun urinating around the house, and I’m just not sure what else to do about it. I think she could use a new home without kids. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Lovely little Sassy. She is just a year old and was brought to the shelter with a litter of kittens. When first brought to us, she did not interact well with people or cats. After a short time of the team working to socialize Sassy, she has become far more comfortable with human interaction and socializing with the other cats. She no longer hides in a cat cave and comes out for visitors and to socialize with other cats.
