A beautiful stray cat gave birth her 4 kittens and soon after they all found safety on our porch. Now they are ready to find loving homes of their own. You will find all 5 cats posted here. Malcolm is the fluffy big brother, Jack is the smaller but hungry boy, Ambrosia is a beautiful little girl, and Speck is the tiny runt who never lets her size hold her back.Speck and Jack are bonded and we would love to see them go to the same home if someone is willing.Jack is a young, playful little guy with a gentle soul. He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you'll discover a sweet, curious cat who loves being loved from his people. His favorite things in the world are food, followed by naps, with occasional string toy action.I have appointments for their shots and spay/neuter in the next week.

Hestia is the sister to Lox and Aunt to Athena 2 (also pictured for adoption)! Her estimated DOB is 04/01/2025. She is a beautiful silver/grey siamese and does have a bit of an attitude with other cats. She is fine as long as they let her be the queen!! She was a bit timid and hid for the first day but then came out to investigate and has been loving every since! She is petite, weighing just 7 lbs at this point. She was spayed, microchipped, given her first feline shot and a one year rabies vaccine on 05/19/2026 and will be ready to go home on 05/29/2026. Her adoption fee is $175. Story

Margo came to PAWS pregnant and gave birth to five beautiful babies the very next day. She had been living as a stray on the streets of Cairo, IL, for all of her life as far as we know. But a kind gentleman came to her rescue and began to feed her and provide shelter for her. He was sad to surrender her but said he just could not continue to care for her and just wanted her to be safe. She is THE sweetest cat I have ever known and she is beautiful. (Unfortunately, she is not very photogenic so her pictures really don't do her justice!) She is immediately friendly with everyone and just wants to love and be loved. She is very quiet and calm and has been an exceptionally great mom. Now that she has the babies old enough to go to their forever homes, it is her turn to have the love and comfort of her very own home and family. She has been spayed, microchipped and has a rabies shot. She did test positive for FIV but I pray that does not stop someone from giving this precious girl the life that she deserves. Most research shows that this can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep puncture wound. It is not a danger to humans. She can live a perfectly normal life, she just may not live quite as long as a non FIV cat. Please consider welcoming this girl into your home. Her adoption fee is $100 and she is ready to go home. The kittens were estimated to be 12 days old at that time as they opened their eyes just two days after coming to PAWS. Cora is a calico who is playful and smart. She is loves chasing her little ball and her brother! She is ready to find her forever home and will be fully vetted and ready to go the first week of August.
