Chai

Domestic Shorthair

Female, Adult

Celina, OH

Size

(when grown) -

Details

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Chai is a lively, almost 5‑year‑old girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for attention. She’ll happily keep you company and make sure you never feel alone. She does wonderfully with children but isn’t comfortable around dogs. Aside from her sister Cocoa, she hasn’t met other cats, so it’s unclear how she might react to new feline companions.Since Chai and Cocoa have been together their entire lives, I strongly recommend they be adopted as a pair. Chai is believed to be microchipped, though the paperwork has been misplaced.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Cocoa is a sweet, almost 5‑year‑old girl who loves attention and enjoys being close once she feels comfortable. She can be a little skittish at times and may hide, but she absolutely adores gentle pets and cuddles. She does great with children, but she isn’t comfortable around dogs. Other than her sister Chai, she hasn’t been introduced to additional cats, so her reaction to new feline companions is unknown.Because Cocoa and Chai have lived together their entire lives, I strongly recommend they be adopted as a pair. Cocoa does occasionally poop just right outside the litter box, but aside from that, we haven’t had any concerns. She should be microchipped, though the paperwork has been misplaced.

Story

DOOHICKEY2-year-old | Neutered Male | White with Black SpotsDoohickey didn’t get the memo that feral kittens are supposed to be shy. While his siblings were busy perfecting their disappearing acts, Doohickey was busy introducing himself to everyone in the room — familiar faces and strangers alike. He likes people. He likes attention. And when he decides it’s cuddle time, it’s cuddle time. No negotiations. When he’s not supervising the humans in his life, you’ll find him burning off energy on his cat wheel like the athlete he clearly believes himself to be. He gets along with everyone — cats, people, whoever shows up — and holds absolutely no grudges.Doohickey is the rare former feral who came out the other side deciding the world was actually pretty great. He’s looking for a home that agrees.Adoption fee: $75 Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccine(s), rabies vaccine, flea prevention, and deworming medication. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Story

Ani is a gentle, easygoing girl with a naturally sweet personality. When she was younger she seemed pretty shy, but over time she’s really opened up, and now she acts like a confident, friendly cat who’s comfortable around people and other animals. She generally seems to get along well with everyone. Her coat is a bit thin right now — likely from stress or possibly a flea allergy — but she’s already improving with care and should continue to fill back in. Even with her sparse fluff, she stays her same calm, kind self.If you’re looking for a soft‑natured girl who settles in well and brings a peaceful energy to a home, Ani may be a great match.Adoption fee: $75 Apply to adopt at: www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adoptIf you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
