Story
I am heartbrokenly looking for a loving forever home for my sweet 9-month-old black and white Tuxedo girl due to an unexpected move and a sudden change in my living situation. I raised her since she was a little kitten, and she has grown into a wonderful companion. She is a super sweet, friendly, gentle, and smart girl who loves being around people. She is already spayed, fully litter-box trained, and has excellent house manners. She has been a complete joy to have around, and it breaks my heart that I cannot take her with me. I am looking for a stable, loving home where she can get the affection and care she deserves. She would make a perfect addition to any family looking for a well-behaved and loving companion. If you are ready to give this sweet girl a beautiful life, please reach out. Thank you so much!

Story
Tug is a cute male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on March 27, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Rainbow Road in the Lowell Ohio area. Tug was a tiny 3-week old baby at that time with no mother in sight. Thankfully for Tug, there was a nursing mother cat (Bear) who had arrived at HSOV the preceding day with her two 2-week old biological kittens (Kenai and Koda) .. And our compassionate HSOV kennel techs placed Tug with that little family in hopes that Bear would accept this baby boy .. And, not surprisingly, Bear welcomed Tug with 'open paws' and began nursing him with Kenai and Koda. So Tug was part of a family and had a mother again (and gained two 'brothers'). Momma Bear was a wonderful mother who raised Tug, Kenai, and Koda to become happy, socialized/playful youngsters. The three boys were separated from Momma Bear after they were weaned .. And they have continued to be a dynamic trio who are sharing a double-wide cage (smile). Tug has a beautiful black-and-white shorthaired coat, a long tail, and an adorable (rather mischievous-looking) face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and extra-long white whiskers. Tug was given vaccinations on June 8, 2026. He was given booster vaccines on June 27, 2026. Tug weighed 3.7 lbs on June 27th. Tug has a lovable, super playful personality, and he is usually the 'ring leader' in charge of silly kitten games. Tug dearly loves his step-brothers Kenai and Koda, and he doesn't realize they are not his biological brothers since they have been with him for most of his young life. Tug will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on July 6th) and will be ready to find a fantastic home. Kenai and Koda have a home waiting for them (together) since they have an approved adoption application. We hope that Tug will also find a dream home very soon (and will have a kitty playmate/companion to continue his favorite kitten games).

Story
Koda is a cute male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on March 26, 2026 along with his mother (Bear) and his brother (Kenai) because his family had too many cats and was unable to care for all of them. Koda and Kenai were tiny 2-week old babies when they entered our shelter. Koda has a gray short-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long gray whiskers. Momma Bear was a wonderful role model for her two little boys, and she raised them to be happy, socialized/playful youngsters .. And she also accepted an orphan kitten (Tug) whom she raised with her biological kittens. Koda, Kenai, and Tug were separated from Momma Bear after they were weaned .. And they have continued to be a dynamic threesome who are sharing a double-wide cage (smile). Like so many mother cats, Momma Bear is truly amazing. Bear accepted a few more orphaned kittens after she raised Koda, Kenai, and Tug. Her latest 'foster kitten' is Wasabi (who was a very frightened little boy and is now pretty sweet/playful). Koda was given vaccinations on June 8, 2026. He has been given Pyrantel wormer as a tiny kitten. Koda was given booster vaccines on June 27, 2026. He weighed 4 lbs that day. Koda has a super sweet, playful personality, and he dearly loves his brother Kenai and his 'step-brother' Tug. Koda will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on July 6th) and will be ready to find a loving home. Update: Koda and his brother Kenai have a home waiting for them (together) since they have an approved adoption application. We hope that their step-brother Tug will also find a dream home very soon (and will have a kitty playmate/companion to continue his favorite kitten games).

Story
Hello beautiful! LIZZIE is a stunning blue-eyed 6 year old Ragdoll girl looking for a new home. She spent her life as a beloved family member but sadly one of the kids in the household has developed an allergy and she finds herself in need of a new home. Lizzie's mom was her favorite person in the world and she was fine with kids. She lived with a dog but has never lived with another kitty so we don't yet know how she would be with another feline. Lizzie's stunning coat will require regular brushing to keep her looking and feeling fabulous. Lizzie requires an indoor-only home where all other pets are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. If you'd like to meet Lizzie, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. Our adoptable cats are fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested and microchipped. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 5, 2026, 8:10 pm
