Story
At a little over a year, Cogsworth is a sweet boy who enjoys his playtime. He came into the shelter with matted fur, which in turn required a nice refreshing haircut. Cogsworth doesn't mind being held, but he does get a little tense while in your arms. He still has a slight fear/shyness since arriving at the shelter. He came in with lots of other friends and still has a slight anxiety when put in front of other cats' kennels. He doesn't get aggressive and doesn't hiss- his body just tenses up to show he's not comfortable. He enjoys human interactions and will "make biscuits" to show his contentment.

Story
Blair is a timid girl who would rather be by herself. She is very calm and shy. It might take her a little time warming up to a new person or environment, but she is worth the patience. She has known the shelter as home since October 2023 and she is ready to find her furever home! She wouldn't be her best self in a home with other animals and young children. However, she has been warming up slightly to dogs since moving to the front offices. She will gently nibble and bat softly at your hands to play. She also likes licking fingers! Blair would prefer to lay in a windowsill and bird watch after playtime is over. She has been nicknamed "Little Miss Prima Donna."

Story
Alvin came to us as a stray with his brother and mother. Alvin has been very shy since coming to the shelter in early March. He would hide in the back of his kennel and show fear when strange faces would appear. Alvin has made so much progress since then! He now allows human interaction and doesn't hide in fear. He approaches cautiously but once he realizes your here to pet him, he will soak up all the attention. He is still getting used to this new environment, but every day is progress. As he continues to open up, his personality becomes more relaxed and even playful! He will now bat at you through the kennel in a playful manner. Alvin is still a little nervous around some of the other cats. As cats wonder the cat room, Alvin will put his paw out in hopes of connecting with a friend. He seems more curious than anything. If Alvin seems like the playful pet you're looking for, apply today to meet this sweet boy!

Story
Dillinger is a sweet young man around 4 years old who is ready to find his furever home. He was brought to the shelter as a stray in early April and upon intake tested positive for FIV. Dillinger would be much safer as the only cat in the home or with other cats with FIV. This sweet boy just loves attention, and he will purr very loud to show you that he enjoys it. He loves to walk through your legs and under your hands, pushing every part of his body against yours in hopes he will get pet, scratched or just loved up on in any way. Dillinger makes very expressive faces, like sticking out his tongue! He also has the most perfect placement of the black and white coloring all around his body that give him a very special look. His eyes are very bright and bold yellow-green and with his signature left ear tip, Dillinger is a very unique looking boy! If you're looking for a cat who will cuddle with you and always want your attention, Dillinger could be the sweet boy up for the task!
