Hi there! I'm Thimble, an apricot-colored tabby kitten just over 2 months old. I'm a little shy with new faces but as long as I'm around my mommy, I'll be fine! I like to play and snuggle with my mom. We go everywhere together, and she makes me feel more like myself. I'm safer with my mom and I'm generally happier around my mom! That's why we come as a bonded pair. I can't wait to grow with a new family AND my mom. Bacon is the final ingredient to our "BLT litter." This young lady was found in the West End area of Johnstown in early May and was pregnant at the time. Near the end of May, this 1-year-old (approximately) girl gave birth to an adorable litter of kittens we know as the 'BLT litter.' After being the best mama she could be, Bacon is now finally ready to find her furever home. Bacon is very shy to new faces. It might take a short amount of time for her to warm up to new people but once she does, she will let you pet her. Being picked up brings a little anxiety to Bacon, but it's something she is working on improving. She is a very laid-back and relaxed girl. She's not too playful, she'd rather spend her days laying on a comfy cat bed, watching any action from afar. Bacon seems to not mind most of the other cats here at the shelter. It would depend on the connection between Bacon and the other cat. Trial adoption is always an option if you'd like to test Bacon at home with another animal. Bacon is just a shy but sweet girl looking to relax in a new home. Hercules was once a shy and timid boy who seemed as if the "feral cat life" suited him better than indoor house cat life. Hercules came in near the beginning of March and has made so much progress warming up to humans that we think he'd make a wonderful indoor companion. Hercules has gone through a lot in his rough past, but he's ready to put his best paw forward and find his new furever home. Hercules is around 3 years old. He doesn't seem to mind some of the other cats here at the shelter. We believe he'd do better with dogs if he wasn't in a kennel, but even behind the kennel he wasn't outwardly aggressive when a dog walked through the cat room. We believe Hercules could adjust to life with other animals if given the chance. If you have other pets, a trial adoption might be the way to go with Hercules! Hercules is making progress every day! He's still working on being picked up by humans, but he enjoys getting pets and scratches from the safety of his kennel. He is also extremely treat-motivated! He seems to enjoy laying around and relaxing in true lazy cat fashion. After stretching and yawning, he would make the purr-fect decoration for your couch.
