You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Névé est un magnifique chat tout blanc de presque 7 ans, arrivé chez nous en février 2025 alors qu’il avait la bouche en très mauvais état. Il nous avait été confié par une gentille dame qui, ne pouvant malheureusement pas le garder, souhaitait lui donner une chance de trouver une nouvelle famille. Depuis son arrivée, Névé a fait énormément de progrès. Au début, il était très craintif et préférait se faire tout petit. On le retrouvait souvent bien caché derrière un autre minou ou confortablement dissimulé dans une cachette de l’arbre à chat. Mais derrière cette petite bouille inquiète se cache un chat qui a appris à faire confiance aux humains. Aujourd’hui, Névé est beaucoup plus à l’aise avec nous. On le retrouve maintenant de plus en plus souvent sur le plancher, aux côtés de ses congénères, à participer aux jeux et aux activités avec les bénévoles qui l’accompagnent dans sa socialisation. Difficile de ne pas tomber sous le charme de Névé! Ce gros minet tout doux est un véritable amour, sans la moindre malice. Toujours gentil et prêt à jouer, il a gardé son cœur de chaton malgré ses 7 ans. On a parfois du mal à croire qu’il est déjà adulte tellement il est enjoué! Névé, c’est le genre de chat qui apporte de la douceur, de la bonne humeur… et beaucoup de moments de jeu à sa future famille. Il nous montre chaque jour qu’avec du temps, de la patience et beaucoup de douceur, même les chats les plus craintifs peuvent apprendre à faire confiance et à profiter pleinement de leur environnement. Névé pourrait tout à fait vivre dans un foyer avec d’autres amis félins. Notre beau minou est devenu un chat alerte et courageux. Souvent le premier à nous accueillir lorsqu'on vient visiter sa salle. Il pourrait vivre dans une famille avec des enfants, si ceux-ci sont assez grands pour comprendre son besoin de douceur. Il n'est pas encore rendu à se faire prendre, mais avec de la patience et de l'amour, il viendra vous rejoindre sur le divan pour des séances de calins devant un bon film.  Névé est également porteur du virus de l’immunodéficience féline (VIF). Être positif au VIF ne l’empêche absolument pas d’être un chat heureux, actif et affectueux. Avec de bons soins, une alimentation de qualité, un suivi vétérinaire régulier et un environnement sécuritaire et stimulant, les chats porteurs du VIF peuvent vivre encore de nombreuses belles années et profiter pleinement de leur quotidien. Une attention particulière portée à sa santé, à son alimentation, à ses soins dentaires et à sa stimulation contribuera à maintenir sa qualité de vie et son bien-être.  Névé est un chat adulte, dont les frais d'adoption sont de 310$. He arrived in our care in February 2025 with his mouth in very poor condition. He had been entrusted to us by a kind woman who, unfortunately, could no longer keep him and wanted to give him the chance to find a new family. Since arriving, Névé has made tremendous progress. At first, he was very fearful and preferred to make himself as small as possible. We would often find him hiding behind another cat or tucked away in one of the cozy hiding spots in the cat tree. But behind that worried little face is a cat who has learned to trust people. We also find him more and more often out on the floor, alongside his feline companions, taking part in games and activities with the volunteers who are helping him with his socialization. It’s hard not to fall in love with Névé! This big, gentle boy is an absolute sweetheart, without a mean bone in his body. Always kind and ready to play, he has kept his kitten-like heart despite being 7 years old. Sometimes it is hard to believe that he is already an adult because he is still so playful and full of energy! Névé is the kind of cat who will bring sweetness, happiness… and plenty of playful moments to his future family. Every day, he shows us that with time, patience and lots of gentleness, even the most fearful cats can learn to trust and truly enjoy their surroundings. Névé could definitely live in a home with other feline friends. Our handsome boy has grown into an alert and courageous cat. He is often the first to greet us when we come to visit his room. He could live with a family with children, as long as they are old enough to understand his need for gentleness. He isn’t quite ready to be picked up yet, but with patience and love, he will eventually come join you on the couch for some cuddles while watching a good movie. C'est un chat énergique, colleux et joueur.  J'ai sauvé Momo de la ruelle puisqu'il était un chat errant jusqu'à mai 2026. J'en ai pris soin, je l'ai fait stérilier, vacciner et vermufiger. Il est malheureusement FIV comme plusieurs chats trouvés errants.  Depuis mai, j'ai travaillé fort à adapter son comportement à la vie d'intérieur puisqu'il ne peut plus sortir étant FIV. Il est devenu avec le temps, un vrai chat de compagnie.  Il adore dormir au bout du lit avec son humain et fait ses nuits. Il serait vraiment préférable qu'il soit adopté comme chat unique afin d'éviter la transmission du FIV. Point négatif: il est accro à la nourriture, et est donc constamment être à la recherche de petites collations qui pourraient avoir été laissées sur les comptoirs. Point positif: il a énormément d'amour à donner et saura divertir sa future famille par ses comportements coquins et joueurs. I rescued Momo from the alleyway, where he had been a stray until May 2026. I cared for him and had him neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. Unfortunately, he is FIV-positive, as is the case with many cats found as strays. Since May, I have worked hard to help him adjust to indoor life, as he can no longer go outside due to his FIV status. Over time, he has become a wonderful companion cat. He loves sleeping at the foot of the bed with his human and sleeps through the night. It would be best for him to be adopted as an only cat to prevent the transmission of FIV. One downside: he is obsessed with food and is constantly on the lookout for snacks left on the counters. A plus: he has so much love to give and will entertain his future family with his mischievous and playful antics. Un boule d’amour, coquin comme on les aime, mais surtout incroyablement câlin !  Très joueur et curieux, il adore participer activement aux activités avec les bénévoles lors des séances de socialisation. Le reste du temps, vous le trouverez très souvent installé à la fenêtre aux côtés de son compagnon de chambre, Sebby. Léo est très tolérant et aime beaucoup son ami, même quand ce dernier cherche un peu la bagarre ! S'il apprécie la compagnie de ses congénères félins, Léo aime aussi sa tranquillité. Il pourrait donc très bien s'épanouir comme seul roi de la maison. Léo pourrait faire le bonheur d'une famille avec des enfants suffisamment grands pour comprendre lorsqu’il en a assez. Il est très patient, croque légèrement s’il est tanné mais c’est sans méchanceté. Car Léo est un chat qui ne veut que de l’amour. Il vous le rendra très bien! Léo a un souffle au coeur de ⅙. Le souffle cardiaque n’est pas une maladie en soi, mais le bruit du sang qui circule dans le cœur. Cela n'affecte en rien sa belle joie de vivre au quotidien ! He is a total lovebug—a little mischievous in the best way possible, but above all, incredibly affectionate! Very playful and curious, he loves taking an active part in socialization activities with the shelter volunteers. The rest of the time, you will often find him perched by the window alongside his roommate, Sebby. Léo is very patient and fond of his friend, even when Sebby tries to start a little playful trouble! While he enjoys feline companionship, Léo also appreciates his peace and quiet, so he could easily thrive as the one and only king of the castle. Léo would do great in a family with children old enough to recognize when he has had enough. Issue d’un sauvetage, elle a un tempérament indépendant et réservé et a surtout besoin de calme, de patience et de stabilité. Gertrude a été abandonnée par sa propriétaire. Nous assurons actuellement sa garde, mais notre situation ne nous permet malheureusement plus de continuer à nous en occuper dans de bonnes conditions. Gertrude n’est pas une chatte très démonstrative ni facile à manipuler. Elle préfère garder ses distances, ne se laisse pratiquement pas prendre dans les bras et accepte difficilement le brossage ou les manipulations prolongées. Lorsqu’elle se sent contrainte ou stressée, elle peut réagir par des griffures ou des morsures. Son pelage présente actuellement quelques amas de poils qui nécessiteraient une prise en charge adaptée. Gertrude pourrait réellement s’épanouir dans un environnement calme et prévisible, auprès de personnes patientes, idéalement habituées aux chats craintifs ou indépendants. Gertrude is a lovely, spayed female cat, around 6 years old, with a white and brown tabby coat. A rescue cat, she has an independent and reserved temperament; above all, she needs a calm, patient, and stable environment. Gertrude was surrendered by her owner. We are currently caring for her, but unfortunately, our situation no longer allows us to provide the proper care she requires. Gertrude is not particularly demonstrative or easy to handle. She prefers to keep her distance, rarely allows herself to be picked up, and is reluctant to accept grooming or prolonged handling. If she feels forced or stressed, she may react by scratching or biting. Her coat currently has some matted areas that require appropriate grooming attention. Gertrude could truly thrive in a quiet, predictable environment with patient people—ideally those experienced with timid or independent cats. Her well-being is our top priority. We want to find her a permanent home or a foster family capable of providing the stability, patience, and care she needs.
