You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. THE ANIMAL RESCUE NETWORK IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CAT'S ADOPTION. TO ADOPT, PLEASE CONTACT HIS FAMILY DIRECTLY USING THE CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. Gertrude is a lovely, spayed female cat, around 6 years old, with a white and brown tabby coat. A rescue cat, she has an independent and reserved temperament; above all, she needs a calm, patient, and stable environment. Gertrude was surrendered by her owner. We are currently caring for her, but unfortunately, our situation no longer allows us to provide the proper care she requires. Gertrude is not particularly demonstrative or easy to handle. She prefers to keep her distance, rarely allows herself to be picked up, and is reluctant to accept grooming or prolonged handling. If she feels forced or stressed, she may react by scratching or biting. Her coat currently has some matted areas that require appropriate grooming attention. Gertrude could truly thrive in a quiet, predictable environment with patient people—ideally those experienced with timid or independent cats. Her well-being is our top priority. We want to find her a permanent home or a foster family capable of providing the stability, patience, and care she needs. TO ADOPT  PLEASE CONTACT THE FAMILY DIRECTLY USING THE CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW I’m looking for someone who could take care of my dad’s cat. Due to his age, he is no longer able to properly care for her, and we would like to find her a safe and loving home. She is 2 years old, very sweet, but quite timid. She is strictly an indoor cat. A few important details: Not declawed Not spayed As far as we know, she has never been to a vet She would likely need to be spayed to avoid heat cycles Her name is “No Name,” because we were hoping her future family would choose a new name for her. I only have one photo of her, as she currently lives with my father. We’re hoping to find someone patient and caring who can give her a stable and comfortable home.   Contact me : Kandace Lori Springer, asievince@gmail.com, 514-922-2263  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 31, 2026, 2:54 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This tiny 8-year-old gray and white girl was found wandering the streets, underweight and suffering from mouth pain. Despite everything she may have been through, she has remained incredibly sweet and gentle. She loves being around people and is simply looking for someone who will finally give her the tenderness, comfort, and security she deserves. When it comes to other cats, let’s just say she’s not quite as enthusiastic! She would much rather have a family of her own, without any other pets, where she can enjoy all the attention for herself. She could live with children, provided they are old enough to understand and respect her boundaries. And then there’s her beauty… She’s so delicate and dainty it almost hurts your heart. Her little pale pink nose, tiny muzzle, and absolutely irresistible little gremlin face give her so much character. She’s the kind of little face you could look at for hours without ever getting tired of it. As for her health, our lovely girl is doing very well! She recently received the dental care she needed and is now ready to start a new chapter. To help her stay healthy and feel her best for as long as possible, it will be important to provide her with high-quality food suited to her age and individual needs. Ursule is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fee is $310$. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Six weeks of pet insurance are included with the adoption. You will also have access to support from our adoption team for as long as needed, as well as a free 30-minute video consultation within the first month after adoption with our feline behavior consultant, FelineGood https://www.felinegood.ca To have a chance to adopt this cat, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:   https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 31, 2026, 2:54 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Since then, the past two years have been closely intertwined with their shared story. Today, we would love to give Félix the chance to finally discover what a real family life feels like, surrounded by all the love and comfort he deserves. Félix is a wonderful ginger boy, just the way we love them: sweet, affectionate, and, let’s be honest, pretty smart for his one brain cell! He has a playful side, although he could use a little practice getting back into shape. Life at the shelter isn’t exactly the ideal environment for staying active. With a stimulating environment, plenty of playtime, and a family willing to help him along, he could certainly get back into the swing of things at his own pace. Félix can be a little shy at first, but behind that initial reserve is a cat who truly wants to be loved. He simply needs time to settle in, find his bearings, and feel safe. He could live with children, provided they are old enough to understand and respect his boundaries. So far, Félix and Wiwi have always been together. Since his brother is a little more fragile, we’ve long hoped to find a family willing to welcome both boys. We dreamed of giving them that chance together, but after two years of waiting, that special family has yet to come along. In the meantime, Félix deserves to experience the happiness of having a home of his own, too. As for his health, Félix is a carrier of feline herpesvirus, a virus that primarily affects the eyes and respiratory tract. He experienced symptoms as a kitten, but the good news is that he hasn’t had another episode since! The virus remains in his body for life, even when he shows no symptoms. Félix is doing well in that regard, and we hope things will stay that way. As a precaution, we are looking for a home where he will be the only cat to help minimize the risk of transmission to other felines. If you feel you could offer Félix a wonderful life and your heart tells you to welcome his brother Wiwi as well, we would be happy to talk with you about it. But if you can only adopt one cat, please know that Félix deserves his chance, too, to discover what it means to have a family of his very own. Félix is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fee is $310$. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. She arrived at our shelter two years ago and took part in our socialization program, which helped her gradually come out of her shell. Although she is rather shy, she is eager to please. With patience and plenty of tasty treats, Olivia has shown us that she is ready to give a new family a chance! She enjoys playtime, but always at her own pace. She’s not the most rambunctious of the bunch! A fishing-pole toy, a laser pointer, or an automatic toy that moves beneath a round cover is enough to spark her curiosity. She also enjoys valerian-filled toys, which provide her with plenty of fun. Olivia appreciates her treats, too! Creamy treats and her hypoallergenic kibble are among her favourite little pleasures. She especially loves creamy treats, but she is quite reasonable and won’t constantly demand more. When it comes to affection, Olivia will happily come to greet people when they arrive and readily accepts gentle strokes along her back. However, it is important to keep in mind that she may need time before feeling this comfortable in her new home. Building trust will require patience, a gentle approach, and an understanding of her needs, allowing her to adjust at her own pace and develop a sense of security with her new family. Olivia is a sweet little cat who enjoys human company and will hopefully develop a lovely bond with her future family in time. Her little happy place? Lounging by a window and quietly watching the world go by from her favourite spot. Olivia gets along with other cats without any major issues, but she prefers respectful interactions. If an overly enthusiastic feline companion comes barreling into her during playtime, she knows how to remind them—gently, or perhaps a little less gently!—that she needs her personal space, too. A home where she can enjoy the company of other cats without being constantly overwhelmed would be ideal. Olivia will also need a dedicated acclimation room when she first arrives in her new home. This will give her time to adjust to all the new sights, sounds, and smells while building a sense of security and establishing a trusting first connection with her new humans and feline roommates. Olivia will need dental care within the next year. There is nothing urgent at this time! The shelter will cover the full cost of her dental procedure. Her future family will simply need to commit to bringing her to her appointment at our Anjou clinic once it has been scheduled. Olivia is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fee is $310$. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV).  Six weeks of pet insurance are included with the adoption.
