Story
Hello! This is my best friend Kibbles. I've had her since she was a kitten, and she is now 6 years old. She is the most loving, cuddly, purring cat I've ever met. She loves attention, playing, watching cartoons, and cuddling up to her favorite person. She is very shy, and needs a calm/quiet environment to live in. She also DOES NOT get along with any other animals, she will become aggressive with them. As well as she's been a inside cat her whole life. But she does love humans! She will sing to you with her beautiful meowing, and stick right by your side. And when she begins to trust you, she will even give you kisses! She will push her face against yours, and even nibble on your nose and lips. She has been there for me when no one else was, and has gotten me through the hardest times of my life. She is a energetic furry ball of joy and love. And now, with my situation right now, I just want to find her the best loving home I can, because she truly deserves it. Thank you.

Story
I adopted Freya from a cattery in NC back in Aug. 2013. Due to an expected move to a smaller space and rental restrictions, Freya needs a new home where she can have her own space. Freya is a sweet cat, but she's quite shy. Freya needs to feel secure and certain she will not have to share her space or litter box with other animals. She's affectionate on her terms, enjoys petting, but isn't a lap cat. She will do fine with children if they are old enough to understand boundaries and slow relationship building She has a flea allergy and needs oral flea prevention like Cheristin NOT topical (her skin is sensitive). Freya doesn't have any health issues aside from mild arthritis in her hips. She needs a ramp or small steps rather than big jumps or climbs. Freya is a great and will thrive in a home where she can slowly build a bond with her owner. If you're patient and willing to provide her with the love and space she needs, she will grow to be a wonderful companion.

Story
Orange tabby with white chest and feet. Cider is sweet and cuddly but will sleep through the vacuum and won't hear you call him. The vet estimated his age at 3 yrs but our intake estimate didn't agree. He is a young adult but the age is not certain. We think he would be good with children since he is gentle but, given his special needs and slight clumsiness, he would need supervision.

Story
Trudy is a small black/white tuxedo kitten and very sweet but she seems to want to be the only pet. It makes sense because she was all alone at a rural store where she feared for her life and was probably picked on by other feral cats. A wonderful woman who feeds strays picked her up and brought her to rescue. She was immediately grateful and started purring with relief. Trudy's gentle spirit brings tranquility to her surroundings, her soft purrs like a soothing melody. She loves to play, her antics a source of endless amusement. Trudy also loves to cuddle, her purrs a testament to her contentment. She's an affectionate companion, her loyalty unwavering. Trudy has a heart full of love to give and is ready to share it with a family that will cherish her. Adopting Trudy means gaining a friend for life, a confidante, a playmate, and a source of unconditional love. Her sweet nature and gentle demeanor make her the perfect addition to any home.

Story
Pickles is a sweet adult cat who came into rescue as a pregnant stray. She mostly hung out on Main St. by the courthouse where she was fed by the nearby law office staff until they noticed she was pregnant and contacted rescue. Pickles nursed her babies and many orphan kittens until she was spayed but her days on the street searching for food have led her to overeat. Her once undernourished body is now quite round but she’s still playful. Her favorite activity is to bat balls around in the bathtub. But she is mostly a couch potato and rightly so – she’s earned it. Her soft purrs and gentle demeanor will make you feel loved and cherished. Her large, expressive eyes speak volumes about her kind and loving nature. She enjoys lying by a window, watching birds and supervising the younger kittens at play. Pickles has been fostered with other kittens and gentle dogs but she would prefer to be the only pet. Adopting Pickles means welcoming a world of love and companionship into your home.
