Story
James's Story Let's learn about James from his foster mom, James is a former feral who was rescued, neutered, and given a second chance at indoor life—and he’s been quietly proving that he belongs. He’s docile, gentle, and observant, with a soft presence that grows on you over time. James enjoys small, cautious moments of attention, especially when he sees other cats getting affection. He’ll come over, check things out, and accept a little love—but he’s not one to overstay his welcome. With a patient person who spends consistent one-on-one time with him, he has the potential to become even more comfortable and connected. He absolutely shines around other cats. James loves having feline companions and tends to act like a shadow or sidekick—always nearby, always part of the group, just not demanding the spotlight. He would do wonderfully in a home with friendly resident cats. While James doesn’t enjoy being held, he’s very tolerant and calm, never reactive or aggressive. He’s the kind of cat who shows trust in subtle ways and rewards patience with quiet companionship. James is looking for a calm, understanding home that appreciates gentle souls and understands that some of the most special bonds grow slowly—and last a lifetime. This sweet face could be yours today! James is waiting for his furrrever home---don't let him wait too long. Think you are the purrrfect match for James ? Story
I started taking care of him since about Thanksgiving, the owner states he was born middle of May 2025, making him 8 months and 1 week. The original owner abandoned him aswell as 2 others and Ive been left to care for them. Soot is a little skiddish to being picked up and he likes to run from everything but still cuddles my dogs aswell as nuzzling when he wants, hes very vocal and hasnt shown interest in my female cat yet. Please help give this this little boy a new home, I cannot give him what he needs
