Story
Luna, 5 1/2 years old. Very social and friendly. Doesnt really like to be picked up but loves pets and cuddles. We have a toddler and Luna does not get along with her. She is bonded to her sister star, also 5 1/2, shes a tuxedo, very friendly and gentle. They would need to be adopted together as a pair. They both are scared of dogs.

Story
Medical WaiverHi, my name is Ranger and I’m looking for a forever home. Before I get into what I’m looking for please let me tell you a little bit about myself. On January 15, 2026, I was found scavenging for food on the front porch of some nice people that feed stray and feral cats. I couldn’t see because of the infections in my eyes, and I was having a hard time breathing because I had a bad Upper Respiratory Infection (URI). When the people tried to help me I ran to hide under a truck. You guessed it, the truck was a Ranger and that’s how I got my name. The people that found me also foster kittens and wanted to foster me so I was taken to Charleston Animal Society Berkeley Campus to get examined and get some medications for my eyes and URI. It took a whole month for me to get better. Now I can see and breathe just fine. Sadly, I was in quarantine for that month and the only fun I got to have is when my foster parents would play with me.I have been out of quarantine for a week now and I’ve been having a lot of fun. I have lots of energy and I’ve been playing with five foster brothers and one foster sister. It took me a couple of days to get over my shyness but now I spend the day playing tag with them and climbing the cat tree. I love to take naps in the cat tree or my foster parents laps. They say that I have a loud soothing purr. I also love belly rubs and playing with wand toys. I have a quirky personality guaranteed to make you laugh. I do have a large breed dog big brother. I’m still getting used to him, but I get closer and closer to him every day and think I could eventually get used to him.I have a good appetite and like dry food the best although I do like a little wet food a couple of times a day. I am litter box trained but I can be a little messy covering my waste and kick litter out of the box. It has been suggested that an enclosed litter box would be good for me.I’m looking for a home where I will be loved, and I will love you in return. I would love a young kitten or cat to play with. I haven’t been around young children, but I think if they love me and treat me nicely, I shouldn’t have a problem. I love my foster parents, but it’s time for me to find my permanent family. Is that you?
