Story
We adopted Murphy less than two weeks ago from a forster home through a friend who responded to an add. We met the fostering person in a shopping center as she was leaving town for the New Year. We did not get any information about her as she put him in the car and hurried off. We do know that he was in Charleston Animal Soceity Shelter where he got his shots, was neutered, and had a chip implanted. Murphy is six years old and comes with everything: Food (wet and dry) wet food station, dry food dispenser, water dispenser, deep litter boxes (2), litter, 2 scratching posts, a bed, all new, and more. Murphy is handsome, smart, friendly, and playful. We loved having him, except my wife has angioedema. Blood tests came back that a cat allergy is responsible for an angioedema outbreak. We just want Murphy to have a good home where he is loved.

Story
Tabby is a cat that we believe was abandoned on our apartment property several years ago. A nice lady has been feeding her and another stray male for a while. After seeing her with a second set of kittens a few weeks ago (we rescued the first litter last year), we knew we had to take action. We safe trapped the mom and kittens and got her spayed at a local shelter. She is now spayed and living in my guest room. Kittens have been adopted already as they were about 10 weeks old. The plan was to T-N-R her but she has showed no signs of being feral aside from being scared (totally normal for any cat). We would like to find her a home where she can finally relax and live her days in peace and comfortability, instead of worrying where her next meal will com from. She is a sweet and lovely little cat, and we would keep her if we didn't live in a two bedroom apt with three other cats and a dog.

Story
Button started as a stray cat I was feeding outside my apartment. She has been an indoor cat for two weeks now. She has been spayed, had all of her first round of vaccines (message for more info), has been using the litter box consistently and is super sweet. She's a really sweet and healthy cat and I thought I wanted to keep her but I am a college student and I'm realizing I can't afford an animal right now. I want her to go to a loving home that can give her a good life, because she deserves it. She just wouldn't fit into mine right now. I think she would do well in a house with other cats because she had met one of my roommates cats and done well. I'm unsure about dogs but she is really easy going so there's a possibility. She needs consistency and maybe a little patience in the beginning. She had worms when I first got her but she has been dewormed but she needs to be rechecked in a month to make sure they are fully gone. She also needs her vaccine boosters in a month.

Story
To whom may read this: This is very hard on our family to have to do this. We love Annie dearly and I am heartbroken over this decision. Annie needs to be in a home where she is the only cat. She great around cats but she is so skittish around other cats because we have a cat that bullies her. She will not fight back. She has gotten to the point that she has lost quite a bit weight and her tail is missing fur. As a family we decided this is the best thing for her, we want her not to be so scared to come out. The only reason we are asking a fee is we just don't want anyone who is like a free cat and is not serious about taking care of her.

Story
Squirrel is a 6 year old cat who I call the forever kitten. She is only six pounds and tiny as can be. She’s adorable and so so cuddly. She gets along with other cats, but does best on her own. Dogs are a no for her. She is shy and cautious, but she is super cuddly and just wants to follow you around and snuggle up to be pet. She doesn’t play much, she just likes to watch the toy move. She likes to sleep by your head. She takes a few days to warm up to you, but then she wants tons of love!

Story
Squid is a curious, playful, energetic cat who loves to cuddle. He is the type of cat to run to the door when someone comes home. He jumps on my back and stays there while I do laundry or things around the house. He loves to curl up against or between my legs to sleep at night. He is super loving and playful, I am just not able to give him the attention he needs. I will send his favorite toys with him as well. He is being rehomed because my significant other has two dogs, and they are not getting along at all. He has been with other dogs who are friendly with cats, and just growled at them with minimal issues. With my partner’s dogs, he growls and hisses at them and the dogs go after him. We’ve had to separate him from them, and with four animals, he isn’t getting the enrichment and play time he deserves. I can keep him indefinitely, I just want to find a good fit where he is happy. Squid brought so much joy to my life, and I want him to be safe and be able to do that for someone else.
