Story
HiHo Dairy-oh! is a classic black DSH and a natural-born farm cat. Independent and hardworking, she’s happiest with a job to do—keeping the rodent population in check and patrolling her territory. She’s not looking for the indoor pampered life, but she’ll happily stick around for meals, a safe barn, and a kind human. A reliable little worker ready to earn her keep! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Story
Kendell is a gorgeous DLH black-and-white lady with plenty of fluff and even more personality. She knows exactly what she likes, what she doesn’t, and she’s never shy about sharing her opinions. Whether it’s requesting pets on her schedule or giving you a look that clearly says “not right now,” Kendell keeps things honest. Underneath that confident exterior is a cat who enjoys attention in her own way and will reward respectful humans with her charming, expressive nature. If you appreciate a cat with boundaries, sass, and a strong sense of self, Kendell will make a wonderfully entertaining and loyal companion. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter.
