Meet Kira! Kira is a sweet, loving young adult who adores attention and never turns down a cuddle. She came into rescue after being surrendered from a home where she was unwanted while pregnant. Just two days after arriving at her foster home, she gave birth to her beautiful kittens. Kira has been an exceptional mother, lovingly caring for her own babies and even welcoming a surrogate kitten into her family. Her gentle, nurturing personality shines through in everything she does. Kira has some mild seasonal allergies, which have been managed with probiotics and lysine treats. She enjoys her treats and has been doing well with this simple routine. Kira's looking to find a forever home where she'll be cherished. She would love a family that will give her plenty of affection, cozy places to nap, and lots of opportunities for cuddles. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.
