Meet Leroy, the big ol' softie looking for a new BFF 💕! This 2-year-old sweetheart loves attention and snuggling, but needs a cat-free zone due to some past drama 😬. His last fam says he's great with dogs and kiddos, though! If you're looking for a loyal buddy who'll soak up all the love, Leroy's your guy! He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – basically a catch 😉. Ready to give Leroy a forever home? Submit that adoption application through the website or stop by the shelter! He's chillin' in the Main Cat Room 🐱💤

Story
This handsome boy is Dewayne. 🖤He's a stunning DMH 3-year-old black male with white salted throughout his coat. He has not been neutered yet, but that will be covered with his adoption fee. He is very affectionate and craves attention. 💗 Dewayne told us that his New Year's Resolution was to be more creative. I think he really meant that he wanted to find more creative ways to get canned food and treats. He is definitely food-motivated! 🍽️ If you think you have the home filled with snuggles and treats that this sweet boy is looking for, then all you will need is an approved application 📝 and a small adoption fee.

Story
We asked sweet little Hot Toddy what his New Year's Resolution was. He told us that his only goal this year was to find a forever home 🏠 to live out the rest of his life because he had already achieved every cat's dream. He caught the elusive red dot 🔴 ! And he could not have been prouder of himself for it! 🤎🤍Hot Toddy is a very sweet and affectionate 11-year-old DSH brown and white tabby. He has already been neutered, so he is ready to go to his loving forever family today. He currently works overtime at the biscuit-making factory, and even trained himself to make biscuits with all four paws! 🥰 He is a lover through and through, begging for attention from all who pass his kennel. If you think you have the forever home this sweet boy deserves, then all you will need is an approved application 📝 and a small adoption fee.

Story
Meet Monty, a gentle soul who has formed a strong bond with his companion, Marie. Monty is a shy cat who takes time to warm up to new people, and he thrives best in a quiet and calm environment. Due to his sensitive nature, he would prefer a home without young children, where he can feel safe and secure. He arrived at the shelter in July of 2023, with many other cats he was acclimated with. Those other cats had been adopted leaving Monty unsure of new cats coming into the community room. He did make a bond with Marie. They’ve been together for a good long time, enjoying the accommodations of their own room at the SPOT Clinic. Key Characteristics: • Bonding: Monty is strongly bonded with Marie and would prefer to stay together. • Personality: Shy and reserved, Monty needs time to build trust with new people. • Home Requirements: A quiet home without young children is essential for Monty's well-being. • Health: Monty is FIV+, and his new owners should be aware of his status and provide proper care. FIV+ cats can live a long healthy life. Adoption Considerations: • Monty would benefit from a patient and understanding owner who can give him time to adjust to new surroundings. • Providing a calm and peaceful environment will help Monty feel secure and build trust. • Regular veterinary check-ups and proper care will help Monty live a happy and healthy life despite his FIV+ status. It can only be transferred by very deep bite wounds, where there is blood transfer. So would need a calm and peaceful home environment along with other resident cats. Ideal Owner: • Someone who understands and respects Monty's shy nature and can provide a gentle approach. • An owner who can provide a quiet and calm environment, free from stress and loud noises. • A household without young children, ensuring Monty feels safe and secure. By understanding Monty's and Marie’s needs and providing a suitable environment, you can help them feel comfortable and loved, and they will reward you with their loyalty and affection.
