Story
Stella is a beautiful female Calico kitten who was surrendered by her owner on July 24, 2025 along with her two sisters (Meeko and RJ) and her brother (Hammy). The kittens were 4-months old at that time. Stella has a black/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long tail, and a classic black/orange Calico face with golden eyes, a wide orange stripe on her muzzle/forehead, and long white whiskers. Stella was spayed on September 23, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 5 lbs that day. Stella and her siblings dearly love each other, but they are still working on their social skills with regard to their people friends. They have made progress in our shelter since their arrival, but they are not yet ready to be held in your arms or snuggle up on your lap. We believe that they would do much better in a home environment with a family or individual who has the experience/patience to let them acclimate to their new home (realizing they may choose to hide for awhile until you gain their trust). The siblings have been separated into pairs so that they will have a best friend for comfort/security: [Stella & Meeko] and [Hammy & RJ] Stella and her sister Meeko (a beautiful Chocolate Point Siamese kitten) are sharing a cage and are quite compatible. They are being listed as a bonded pair and will be required to be adopted together.

Story
Milo is a handsome 7-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on April 2, 2026 along with his companions (Lizzie and Max) for a very sad reason ... Their owner (who had loved them very much) had passed away recently, and there wasn't anyone who could give them a home. This little guy has an orange tabby short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Milo has a sweet disposition and a quiet, easygoing personality. He is good with other cats. Milo was neutered on April 6, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 7.36 lbs that day. Milo was given vaccinations, dewormer, and flea treatment on April 7, 2026. These photos of Milo were taken on April 4th~ and April 7th, 2026. You'll notice that another one of our awesome HSOV cats (Egg Whites) innocently photobombed Milo's pictures which were taken in the cat tower. Milo and Lizzie are currently sharing a large cat tower in the lobby/hallway of our shelter. Max is enjoying a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room. Milo would love to find another home with someone who would love him as much as his beloved mistress did.

Story
Yeti is a handsome 6-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on March 11, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Florence Street in Belpre Ohio. Yeti was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. Yeti has a snow white short-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Yeti was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on March 12, 2026. He weighed 9.1 lbs that day. Yeti was given booster vaccines on March 31, 2026. This sweet boy has a quiet, easygoing personality and loves attention. Yeti was examined by one of our local veterinarians on March 24th and was diagnosed as being diabetic, so he is being listed as a ‘Special Needs Kitty’ for that reason. Yeti has been given daily insulin injections and is doing very well thanks to his veterinarian who has been monitoring dosages (and the excellent care from our HSOV Feline Kennel Techs). Yeti is currently enjoying a triple-decker cat tower in the lobby of our shelter. He is ready to find a fabulous home with an individual or family who is experienced in caring for a diabetic kitty. Yeti was already neutered when he entered our shelter, so he could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.

Story
Guac is a cute 6-month old female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on April 8, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her in the Waterford Ohio area. Guac was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This little sweetheart has a gray tabby short-haired coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, a dusting of white on her muzzle, and long white whiskers. Guac has the sweetest, most lovable disposition and an outgoing, playful kitten personality. She is super friendly and gets along well with other cats/kittens as well as children. Guac was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on April 17, 2026. She weighed 3.8 lbs when she entered our shelter. Since she was not reclaimed, Guac will be spayed in the near future (tentatively in May 2026) and will be soon be ready to find a fabulous home. Guac was taken for her spay appointment on May 4, 2026. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a 'kitty cold' that day (i.e., upper respiratory infection) and was unable to undergo surgery. She will tentatively be rescheduled in June 2026.

Story
Bowser is a handsome 8-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on May 2, 2026 along with his housemate/companion (Lilly). Their owner was moving and couldn't have pets in the new residence. Bowser has a dark brown tabby-and-white shorthaired coat, a long ringed ring, and an adorable chubby tabby-and-white face with dark golden eyes, a brown tabby 'mustache' on his white muzzle, and extra-long white eyebrows and whiskers. This good-looking guy has a sweet disposition and comes to the front of his cage in anticipation of attention when anyone walks by. Bowser was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on May 8, 2026. He weighed 8 lbs that day. Since Bowser has already been neutered, he could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application. He would love to be back in a home with someone special to love him as much as his previous owner did.

Story
Grady is a handsome 14-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on April 29, 2026. This senior gentleman has a gray short smooth coat, a long darker gray tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Grady has a quiet, rather shy, personality. He loves to snuggle up beneath his blankets for a sense of security. Grady does not get along with other cats, and he would do best in a quiet home without dogs since they tend to stress him out too much. Grady weighs 9 lbs. Grady has already been neutered. He is also front-paw declawed, so he would need to be an exclusive indoor-only kitty.
