Nippers is a 3-year-old gal (DOB is 10-19-22) who loves the sun, belly rubs, and laying on your legs watching tv. She was adopted from the Columbia County Humane Society back in 2023. She adjusts well as we have moved twice. Unfortunately, another move is in the near future, and I cannot take her with me. She does well with other cats and also does not mind being by herself. Nippers is a very clean cat, as you can see from her belly (lol). At first sight, she is hesitant, as she wants to know she can trust you. However, once she warms up, you will see how she loves her feather toys and cuddling with you! Would like her in loving home. Will send her with her favorite toys ($10 fee to cover this).

So much to say about our sweetest girl Bonbon! Bonbon came to SWCHS extremely emaciated and heavily matted, and just a lil smelly. With some TLC, we`ve been working on taming her fur and getting the mats out so she can reach around to groom herself. Bonbon has been gaining weight at a steady pace every day and we`re so proud of her - she`s well on her way to being a nice, chunky cat loaf! Even when she was feeling her worst, Bonbon was so sweet and loving to us. As she`s been feeling better, she`s gotten more cuddly, and DEMANDS to be given her rightful place in whichever lap she deems the warmest and comfiest! Bonbon LOVES attention, and gladly comes strutting over when you call her name. She`s as sweet as candy and would do well in a nice, slow-paced home where she can relax after the hard times she`s been through!

Adam is a handsome senior gentleman that would love a forever home to relax, unwind, and receive lots of love and give it in return! Adam was brought to us as a stray, and we soon realized that Adam was dealing with unmanaged diabetes. Adam has responded to his insulin very well and is back on track, and is ready for a home that is willing to help him be healthy and happy! Adam needs to be on a low-carb diet (this is easy, and we can give you a list of good foods that ARE NOT expensive!) and he also needs to eat only twice a day, and receive his insulin 30 minutes after each meal. Because his diabetes went unmanaged for an unknown length of time before he arrived to us, he does walk a bit flat on his back legs. This has gotten better now that his diabetes is managed, but he may always walk a little funny. Adam uses the litter box just fine and has no issues! He is an older gentleman though, and may need some minor help with grooming and brushing. Adam is so, so sweet and has so much love to give - please consider letting him into your heart and he will love you back tenfold!

Seafood Department is a sweet, shy boy that would love to come home and be your lap kitty! Seafood is quiet, but once he`s comfortable and trusts you, he will make sure you know that he would like to be pet - thoroughly and frequently and on-demand! Seafood loves to roll and show his tummy when he`s getting the real good scratches, and if you`re not too greedy, he`ll let you get just a bit of tummy rubs in before he cuts you off. Seafood would do best in a slow-paced, quiet home where he can become comfortable and confident. We`re unsure of how he is with cats or dogs, however we believe he would adjust fine to other animals who of a similar temperament and energy level - slow and steady!

So much to say about beautiful, sweet Patches! Patches was surrendered to us with her brother Electro when her owner was facing hardship. Patches is a little shy, but if you give her just a moment she will camp out on your lap and even let you get some tummy time! Patches also has strabismus - her eyes are a little crossed - but this does not affect her vision at all. It just makes her look even cuter! Patches is also a bit of a chunky gal, and would benefit from a strict diet and some exercise to help her get back to a healthy weight. She has some trouble grooming herself and will need some help with brushing the areas she can`t quite reach!
