Scruff, Ruff and Dot were found outside on their own. A nice lady kept them safe and befriended them until they could come to the shelter for adoption. Since they`ve only know their finder, they are a bit shy. They cuddle together so sweetly, but it would be so nice if they had a home where they felt safe and free to play and be care free kittens.

Cloud and her sister Storm are here because their owner passed away. They are quite scared and a little shut down. We are doing the best we can to reduce their stress and have them in our Wellness Center building so that it`s quieter. They hiss when they 1st see us, but will accept petting and relax a little. A home would be so much more what they are used to. We know it will need to be a special person that says yes to these two when they currently barely want to make eye contact. They just want to be loved again, but right now they can`t see it`s possible.

Forest here! Popping in to let you all know that I am adoptable. You know those “cat-dogs” that people talk about? That’s me, to a T! I have playful and loving energy for days (and days, and days, and days…). If you ask the staff and volunteers here, they’ll all tell you the same thing - I’m a delight! You should know that I have FeLV, but let me tell you a thing or two about that. FeLV is transmittable to other cats (and only other cats, not dogs or humans) through sharing food bowls and litterboxes. It causes my immune system to be compromised, so I can be more likely to get sick. But, the good news is, many cats with FeLV can live long and relatively healthy lives. It’s recommended that I be the only cat in the home, or to live with other cats who also have FeLV. I can live with other pets without the risk of them getting sick. If you have a household with a lot of activity, I will fit right in! If you have a house that’s on the quiet side, I’ll be sure to add some excitement to your life. Apply to meet me today!

Hey, I`m Wilma! My best friend Henry and I are looking for a place to call home. I came to HSWC as a single kitten, and that`s when they paired me up with Henry. Ever since then, him and I are inseparable! We are both incredibly sweet and love to play. I had trouble walking when I first came to the shelter, and staff here realized I needed surgery. Now that I`ve had that, I`m good as new and ready to get out of here (with Henry by my side, of course).
