Linda came to us when she was very little - unfortunately the foster family decided to keep her and her siblings, and ended up being a horder :( now we are rescuing Linda and her brothers back again. Linda and brothers have been enclosed in a dark room for almost all their first months of life. She will need patience to open up to be the beautiful girl she is. Linda and brothers were basically raised by the children of this family - the children didn't go to school hardly and they will be with the responsible people in taking care of them. Although Linda and brothers were giving so much love by the kids; they were never socialized until now. She is very smart and loving. She can get along with other dogs, with proper introduction; we can provide photos with other dogs. She has this beautiful shining coat with gorgeous chocolate color like a Chocolate Labrador; with that special tones of the Catahoula dog breed. She is an ideal medium size. She will be a great addition to any family with children as they love kids. We will provide $100 credit towards training with Petco. All our rescues are spayed/neutered and have been up to date on their core vaccinations of Distemper and Parvo - dewormed, as well as you will receive a free health check up with a participating vet clinic. We adopted Camden after losing our baby late into our first pregnancy. We did this to pour our love into a creature that needed us. He is such a loving dog, he is smart, loyal and protective. It’s his protective nature that we are now struggling with. We became pregnant again and this time around brought twins into our world. This has created an insecure/protective nature that we can’t tame. Thankfully it’s protective of the babies and of my wife. However this makes it hard when we have guest over or are out with the boys and Camden. Camden belongs with active individuals who hike, run, and have a backyard that he can enjoy. He needs a home where he can receive attention, affection and also have an outlet. We unfortunately cannot provide this. He is a wonderful family dog, just needs a better fit.

ARRF has no shelter and all of our dogs are in foster homes. Bogy is a high-energy dog whose breed is a mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback/Plot Hound. His coloring is brindle and white, he weighs 67 lbs., and is two years old. He is neutered and all vaccinations are up to date. He gets along fine with other dogs. He likes to play with female dogs his size. He likes walks, but will need someone that can handle a strong dog on a leash. Bogy loves to play in the yard, chasing balls and sticks. He is still learning about bringing them back! He has toys for in the house and that keeps him busy inside. Playing in the water and playing with best friend, Audrey, are lots of fun. He and Audrey wrestle together, run around, and are very close friends. NO little dogs or cats. He's crate trained, but prefers to sleep outside and spend the day inside with his foster. He is housetrained and has never gone potty in the house at all. He has no problems being in the yard or in the crate if he is left alone for a while. Bogy loves car rides, especially watching out the window. He thinks he's a lap dog and is always giving lots of kisses. He rarely barks, and even through he’s part Hound, he barks like any other dog, not a howling bark. He's good with other people. He hasn’t been around kids, but to be safe he should probably be in a home with older children since he is very strong and might accidentally knock a small child down.
