Story
Merle is a 10 Month Old, Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix. This girl is absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful personality! She is currently at Robin’s house and the first 12 hours were pretty rough (as for a lot of our foster pups). She hid in her crate; shaking and scared. Then, there is a moment where the switch is turned on. After all that stress for the dog and the foster pawrent is suddenly lifted! Merle is now having the time of her life! Chasing balls, giving kisses, running and playing with the other dogs! She’s safe, fed, happy, and ready to start her FURever!! Apply for her on our website and come meet her today! www.dmdr.org/adopt

Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Boulder! Boulder is an 8-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog in need of a loving new home. He currently lives with a cat that he is respectful of, and another dog that he enjoys playing with. Boulder is house-trained, and he is well-behaved when left home alone. Boulder was named in honor of where his family found him in November 2023: alone and starving on Boulder Mountain in Utah. The family took him home, had him checked out by a vet, and had Boulder neutered. During the past 7 months, they have learned he is much more comfortable with women and suspect he was abused by a man in the past. Unfortunately, in February 2023, Boulder bit his new dad's thumb as he reached for his coffee, which was right next to Boulder's food. Despite only leaving a small identation on his thumb and not breaking his skin, Boulder's dad is adamant about rehoming him. Clearly, this was/is an avoidable situation that has sadly resulted in Boulder now needing a new home. He currently lives in Washington state, but his mom and sister are committed to driving Boulder to where the best family for him lives. Might that be you? To learn more about Boulder, please contact Kathy at Kathydoctor@yahoo.com. *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assesssed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

Story
Linda came to us when she was very little - unfortunately the foster family decided to keep her and her siblings, and ended up being a horder :( now we are rescuing Linda and her brothers back again. Linda and brothers have been enclosed in a dark room for almost all their first months of life. She will need patience to open up to be the beautiful girl she is. Linda and brothers were basically raised by the children of this family - the children didn't go to school hardly and they will be with the responsible people in taking care of them. Although Linda and brothers were giving so much love by the kids; they were never socialized until now. She is very smart and loving. She can get along with other dogs, with proper introduction; we can provide photos with other dogs. She has this beautiful shining coat with gorgeous chocolate color like a Chocolate Labrador; with that special tones of the Catahoula dog breed. She is an ideal medium size. She will be a great addition to any family with children as they love kids. We will provide $100 credit towards training with Petco. All our rescues are spayed/neutered and have been up to date on their core vaccinations of Distemper and Parvo - dewormed, as well as you will receive a free health check up with a participating vet clinic. If interested please complete an application at AngelsForDogsAndCatsRescue.org or at AAOFUS.org If you want to follow up on your application, please text us at 619-576-0747 as we are not taking any phone calls at the moment just texts 24/7 Thank you for helping rescued pets and for helping us to keep saving lives by adopting from us.
