Story
URGENT: Loving, Active Home Needed ASAP. Gracie May is a quirky, silly, high-energy girl who lives life at full throttle. She’s pure joy in motion—playful, adventurous, and always up for a hike, beach day, or outdoor escapade. But with no sense of her size or brakes, she’s best suited for a home without small kids or fragile adults. She’s smart, crate trained, and knows her basics—sit, stay, come—and is great both on and off leash. Gracie thrives with daily exercise and mental engagement; without it, she gets anxious and may chew. She’d do best with space to roam and an active person who’s ready to be her adventure buddy. Gracie is a loyal girl who takes a moment to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s yours for life. Sadly, due to unexpected changes in my work and schedule, I can no longer give Gracie the time, attention, and activity she truly deserves. She needs a home now—with someone who can be her whole world. Please help, my heart breaks & want to find her match!

Story
Linda came to us when she was very little - unfortunately the foster family decided to keep her and her siblings, and ended up being a horder :( now we are rescuing Linda and her brothers back again. Linda and brothers have been enclosed in a dark room for almost all their first months of life. She will need patience to open up to be the beautiful girl she is. Linda and brothers were basically raised by the children of this family - the children didn't go to school hardly and they will be with the responsible people in taking care of them. Although Linda and brothers were giving so much love by the kids; they were never socialized until now. She is very smart and loving. She can get along with other dogs, with proper introduction; we can provide photos with other dogs. She has this beautiful shining coat with gorgeous chocolate color like a Chocolate Labrador; with that special tones of the Catahoula dog breed. She is an ideal medium size. She will be a great addition to any family with children as they love kids. We will provide $100 credit towards training with Petco. All our rescues are spayed/neutered and have been up to date on their core vaccinations of Distemper and Parvo - dewormed, as well as you will receive a free health check up with a participating vet clinic. If interested please complete an application at AngelsForDogsAndCatsRescue.org or at AAOFUS.org If you want to follow up on your application, please text us at 619-576-0747 as we are not taking any phone calls at the moment just texts 24/7 Thank you for helping rescued pets and for helping us to keep saving lives by adopting from us. Story
Kima was adopted in the summer of 21 when she was just 2 years old. Originally from a shelter in TX and was first adopted by a family of 3 in Point Loma. Her first family had their hands full with another dog, and a surprise baby on the way-hands too full to keep her as she needs a lot of exercise. She is now 6 and in need of a new home as we will be relocating to the east coast with family and are unable to bring her. We would describe her to be clever, smart and very sweet in nature. She is fiercely loyal and protective of her owners and anyone close to her. She is up for lounging on the sofa or going for a run as she melts to your mood. She tends to react on walks to skateboards, trash trucks, and bicycles-is anxious around wheels. She can be timid around men that are approaching her if not properly introduced. She is amazing with children, and was raised with a toddler in her first home. Kima makes an endearing companion-has a lot of love to give. We will be sad to see her go.

Indio was around the shelter for two years, neglected by his former owners, we decided to give him a space in the shelter when he started playing among the cars on the road. In the midst of danger we were able to get him to safety, and he currently has his full vaccination schedule, microchipped and neutered, ready for his new home. He is a very faithful, intelligent, calm and very sociable dog. He was raised with other dogs and cats, so he makes him a good companion for any family, he likes to go for a walk on a leash, cuddles, receive prizes and learns very quickly. He is an affectionate companion, ideal for a family with children and cats, who wants to give him the love he deserves. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Story
Hi! I'm Shuri and I'm scared in my kennel. Will you give me a loving home so I can feel safe and loved? I'll be a good girl and reward you with kisses and cuddles. WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate, therefore many are losing their lives due to lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today! This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions. Thank you! SHURI - ID#A541902 I am described as a female, black and brown Rhodesian Ridgebck mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old. I weigh approximately 73.40 lbs. Shuri is struggling in the shelter environment. Once she is out of her kennel and is given the opportunity to slowly get to know you, she is a very sweet and affectionate girl, as seen in her video. In her kennel, she is scared when new people approach. If you are looking for a happy go lucky pup who immediately is wiggly and happy to meet you, unfortunately she is not showing that way in the shelter. A shelter is a loud, intimating environment where dogs unfortunately do not receive daily exercise and affirmation, as she needs, due to lack of resources so they don't have the opportunity to show their true selves. Shuri needs a patient, experienced adopter who will give her time to decompress in her new home and form a bond with her new owners. Staff Notes on Shuri: * Sweet and loving girl * Ok to handle, may need to go a little slower at first * Timid, needs a little time to feel comfortable enough to let her hair down * Takes treats gently and then starts to warm up * No aggression seen when walking by the other dogs Moreno Valley Animal Shelter 14041 Elsworth Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92553 951-413-3790 Adoption hours: Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10:30 am - 3:30 pm Closed Sunday-Monday & Holidays
