Story
Hi, I'm Moka Pot Polkadot — and yes, that's really my name! If you don't know what a Moka Pot is, that's okay! Just like the classic Italian stovetop brewer, I'm rich with warm, espresso-brown tones and packed with high-octane energy to jumpstart your day! ☕ I'm an 8-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a striking coat, already spayed and ready for my forever home. I'm a vibrant bundle of puppy energy with an adventurous spirit, but once I've run off my steam, I'm a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with my people. I've even mastered basic commands! I walk great on a leash, I'm super food motivated (which makes training a breeze!), and I'd thrive best in a feline-free home where I can be your devoted companion. My adoption fee is $250, and I can't wait to meet you and shower you with all the affection this wiggle butt has to give! ❤️

Story
Little Ms. Lady was found running back and forth across a highway as a puppy. She's now three years old and is looking for her forever home! She does need to be an only pet (she doesn't share attention well) without any small/young children in the home, since they make her nervous. She's incredibly intelligent, willful, and most of all loving. She is looking for someone who can really center her in their home. She LOVES cuddles and playtime (stuffies are her favorite) and most of all food! She needs someone who can keep her active as she is a high-energy breed and gets bored easily, but she will most definitely be happy to curl up on the couch or in bed with you at the end of the night. She LOVES people but takes some time to warm up to new friends. She's a super goofy, curious girl that enjoys learning new tricks! She does have prescription medication for her anxiety and will be rehomed with supplies. Please, if you're interested apply and let's talk more!

Story
Beau is a sweet and loving Catahoula Sheppherd mix with a lot of energy. He need a home that can give him all the love an attention he needs and the ability to run and take lots of walks. He's had experience with other animals and young kids and done well in all scenarios, but is a puppy, so keep that in mind. He does have anxiety in new situations and with new people, but with time and love he adapts well. He is allergic to chicken and potentially beef, so he's on a seafood only kibble diet.

Story
Willow is a 6 month old deaf catahoula mix dog. She is extremely smart and knows a few words in sign language. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and house trained. Willow gets along well with other dogs. She will require a special adopter due to her lack of socialization she is scared of new people and needs someone who is an experienced adopter or foster. Willow needs to be the only dog unless the adopter is experienced in training. Willow being deaf she doesn’t hear any warnings from other dogs or hear them growl. She is food aggressive and will bark a lot with strangers. Willow needs a very special person in her life. She can be very sweet and loving and loves to cuddle. With patience, love and time willow will make an amazing companion.

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Peaches: Sweet as Pie and Full of Love   Peaches has overcome incredible odds to get where she is today. Neglected and tied to a tree with no food, water, or shelter, she was moments away from being abandoned when a Heidi’s Legacy volunteer stepped in to save her. At 4 years old and 51 pounds, Peaches is now safe and thriving in her foster home—but she still needs your help.   Peaches has a permanent reminder of her rough past. She was heartworm positive for so long before rescue that it caused irreversible damage to her lungs. While she’s now heartworm-free, she needs daily medications to keep her healthy and comfortable. These medications, along with her food and ongoing care, come at a cost, and we’re looking for sponsors to help support her.   Her foster family absolutely adores her and would love to keep her forever. With your sponsorship, we can make that dream a reality for Peaches and the people who’ve given her a second chance at life.   Peaches is a sweet, playful girl with a soft spot for toys—she’ll happily chase, chew, and snuggle them to her heart’s content. She’s house-trained, crate-loving, and a total wiggle-butt when her people come home. A fenced yard or screened porch is her happy place, where she can bask in the sun and soak up the fresh air.   Peaches needs an experienced, dog-savvy handler who understands her boundaries. She prefers to be the only pet (no cats or kids, please!) and thrives in a calm, structured environment.   Your sponsorship could change Peaches’ life and ensure she stays safe, healthy, and loved in the home she’s come to know as her own.   Preferred Methods of Donations   PayPal: @heidislegacy   Venmo: @HLDR2002   Zelle: Heidi’s Legacy   Website: heidislegacydogrescue.com/donate   The email associated with these accounts is info@heidislegacydogrescue.com     Could you be the hero Peaches has been waiting for?
