EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Capable FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Loves Everyone PLAYFULNESS: Semi-Pro FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Social LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Sometimes Meet Seymour ("See More") Age: 1 Year Old Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Seymour, affectionately known as "See More," is a playful and loving pup with a sense of humor as bright as his personality. Despite being vision-impaired and deaf, he’s all about "seeing" (and feeling) more of the world around him—he’s always up for a game of fetch with a high-visibility, brightly-colored toy or ball, or an exciting adventure with his human and dog pals. Seymour is a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up on the couch and bask in all the love you have to offer. His adorable charm isn’t affected by his lack of sight or hearing—he’s still a big fan of people and dog friends alike! With his gentle nature and playful spirit, he makes the perfect companion for anyone looking to add some joy and warmth to their lives. Seymour might not be able to navigate his surroundings as well as others and may present unique training challenges, but he sure knows how to bring happiness into it with his antics. Ready to meet this lovable little guy? He’s excited to "see more" of life with you! Due to his unique challenges, we have some books and tool recommendations to make transitioning into your home easier for you AND Seymour. There is a device called a "Halo" that fits like a harness and creates a ring in front of his body to give him feedback via the harness to stop him before he walks into a hard surface and potentially injures himself. There are also vibration collars that can be used to assist training for dogs that are hearing impaired. Because he can see SOME shapes, he has benefited in our care from sign language training with the help of "Acorns DEAFinitely Awesome Dictionary of Signs" book, which has pictures and descriptions of easy-to-use American Sign Language commands. All of these tools are available online!

Story
PLEASE READ ALL NOTES BELOW THE ANIMAL PROFILE! Meet Skyler! She is a Catahoula Pit Bull mix with the cutest freckles. She LOVES to play fetch and has mad skills! She would love to get together to play! She is looking for a furever home with a big yard where she can run around, get out her zoomies, and chase lizards and balls, of course! She is very affectionate. She is also house broken and potty trained. She does need a limited ingredient diet or her tummy gets upset. She loves to cuddle and give kisses so a loving home is a must! FUN FACT: I have one blue eye and one brown eye. That is called Heterochromia. More from Skyler: Hey everyone! I'm Skyler! I’m a 5-year-old female Catahoula Pit mix with a heart full of love and energy! If you're looking for a playful, sweet, and super friendly companion, I'm your girl! I absolutely adore playing in the backyard and can't wait to show you my zoomies! I’m always up for a game of fetch or just running around to my heart's content. When I'm not busy playing, you’ll find me snuggled up in someone's lap, soaking up all the cuddles and affection. I know some cool commands like sit, down, and stay! But I have to admit, I'm quite the foodie and sometimes need a little extra motivation if treats aren’t involved. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and house trained, so you don’t have to worry about any messes or chewed-up furniture. I would love a home with a fenced yard where I can safely run and play. I'm great with older kids and would thrive in an active family who loves to have fun! However, I’d prefer a home without cats. I do need a bit of work on my leash training and listening to commands without treats, but with a firm and loving hand, I know I’ll get there in no time! So, if you're ready for endless fun, cuddles, and a loyal companion, please consider giving me a forever home! Love, Skyler Adoption FEE: $150 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccinations.   Please only send inquiries to the email in this bio all others will not be answered. Please read the bio before sending questions - we answer all we know about the dog here. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Peaches: Sweet as Pie and Full of Love   Peaches has overcome incredible odds to get where she is today. Neglected and tied to a tree with no food, water, or shelter, she was moments away from being abandoned when a Heidi’s Legacy volunteer stepped in to save her. At 4 years old and 51 pounds, Peaches is now safe and thriving in her foster home—but she still needs your help.   Peaches has a permanent reminder of her rough past. She was heartworm positive for so long before rescue that it caused irreversible damage to her lungs. While she’s now heartworm-free, she needs daily medications to keep her healthy and comfortable. These medications, along with her food and ongoing care, come at a cost, and we’re looking for sponsors to help support her.   Her foster family absolutely adores her and would love to keep her forever. With your sponsorship, we can make that dream a reality for Peaches and the people who’ve given her a second chance at life.   Peaches is a sweet, playful girl with a soft spot for toys—she’ll happily chase, chew, and snuggle them to her heart’s content. She’s house-trained, crate-loving, and a total wiggle-butt when her people come home. A fenced yard or screened porch is her happy place, where she can bask in the sun and soak up the fresh air.   Peaches needs an experienced, dog-savvy handler who understands her boundaries. She prefers to be the only pet (no cats or kids, please!) and thrives in a calm, structured environment.   Your sponsorship could change Peaches’ life and ensure she stays safe, healthy, and loved in the home she’s come to know as her own.   Preferred Methods of Donations   PayPal: @heidislegacy   Venmo: @HLDR2002   Zelle: Heidi’s Legacy   Website: heidislegacydogrescue.com/donate   The email associated with these accounts is info@heidislegacydogrescue.com     Could you be the hero Peaches has been waiting for? Story
Fred was a stray that was trapped by a rescue & taken to shelter for stray hold ., he was a shelter staff favorite . He was nervous of shelter enviroment & around other dogs . the rescue set him up with a professional training facility where he,s doing great for past 6 weeks . He loves water activitys , walks/jogs & next to a bike for running. He could be adopted to a home with docile dog with slow introductions & no kids under 10 years due to his size .. Loves attention & interacting with people .
