Our adoption coordinator will reach out to you by email so please check your email for updates. We do meet & greets at our shelter by appointment only - we do not take walk-ins. Pumpkin was abandoned by her previous owners and found in a sinkhole in the backyard along with her puppies. Pumpkin has been at our shelter now for over 2 years and is still looking for her forever home. Pumpkin is friendly with people but not with cats. She is good with dogs but we prefer to do slow introductions to make sure both dogs are comfortable. She loves belly rubs and de-stuffing all stuffed toys she can get her paws on. She has completed basic training and walks well on a leash. She does like to jump up and give hugs so we are working on that. But she is so huggable that we just have to let her do it sometimes. If you want an absolute love bug to be a part of your family, please submit an application on Pumpkin. She is a shelter favorite and we would love to see her finally get the forever home that she deserves.

Warrior was extremely emaciated when he came to us and in need of a lot of gentle, loving care and food. He doesn't always photograph well because he’s full of wiggles and joy but he’s doing well. He’s gained some weight but still has a ways to go! He was rather dog selective when he was emaciated, but as he gets healthier you can tell he feels better too, because he's so happy-go-lucky now and much more playful with most dogs. Warrior absolutely LOVES people and will wiggle his body so hard when he meets a new one. He loves attention and pets and will hound howl to get your attention if he feels he's not getting the appropriate amount of loving. Warrior is doing well with house training and has not had any accidents in several weeks! He's not the sharpest tool in the shed though so he will definitely need some positive encouragement to learn your routine in a new home. He is however, eager to please and will surely pick it up in no time. More advanced requests though, might take a bit more patience! Warrior is microchipped, vaccinated, heart worm tested negative, and neutered. He has also been dewormed and is current on monthly prevention.

My birthday is November 20th, I love to play and run. Someone who is active will be great for me. I have been socialized with other dogs at dog parks I love making friends. One of my favorite things to do is go for car rides with my humans. I’m very loving and sweet with kids but sometimes I don’t realize how big I am and may knock them over. I know a few commands, sit, stay and how to wait for my food now till you tell me I’m a good boy. I’m very smart and enjoy learning new tricks. Very treat motivated. This beautiful girl was found dumped on our road in a rural area. She has been with my family for a few weeks now and is the SWEETEST most lovable girl I have ever met. She is amazing with my male dog and two children ages 5 & 7 playing with them wherever they are, digging in the dirt, on bikes, even in the pool! She has had puppies possibly right before she made it here. I did not want her in a shelter setting so she is staying with us until we can find the perfect home. She has been perfect in the house no accidents and is in a crate when alone never making a fuss. She has also been great around our ducks and chickens. She is already becoming protective of the house in a healthy way and has never offered to nip even getting her nails trimmed. She has never seen a cat so i am unsure if a cat family would be right for her.
