Story
Meet Willow! Willow came in with her mom, Bailey, after running loose on the streets. A nice person took her in and got her all her medical, and now she is ready to go to her forever home! Willow is mostly white, but her spots have the typical Catahoula leopard pattern that she inherited from her mom. She is partially blind in one eye, but you would never know it because she plays and runs like there is no tomorrow! Like her mom, she has a lot of energy and would be a good dog to be given a task, or be a good hunting buddy. Because she is so young, you could train her to do anything! She is very sweet and ready to learn!

Story
Hello Hoomans. My name is Chico. I am a 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog, and I am deaf. I am friendly with cats and older children, but I don't really do well with the other dogs in my home. I love chewy toys, treats, and Hooman food although I don't get this very often, and have slight separation anxiety, but with toys to chew, I am ok. I am house broken, and love being outside with hoomans, I can walk well on a leash, but I can pull if I see a squirrel or bird. I also enjoy sitting on the couch, with my hoomans, who I love to cuddle with, because I think I'm a smaller dog than I actually am. If you feel like I would be a good dog-o in your home, please send my current hoomans an email.

Story
I was actually born in foster care here about 10 years ago, so you could say this place has known me all my life. Since then, I’ve bounced between homes a few times — not because I’m a bad boy, but because I’ve always needed a little extra time and understanding to build trust with new people and situations. Once I feel safe, though, I’m as loyal and loving as they come.During my last stay, I joined the Homeward Bound program and spent a week with some great trainers who helped me meet new dogs, explore new environments, and gain confidence. I really blossomed! I was adopted into what I thought would be my forever home, but sadly, I came back when my beloved owner passed away unexpectedly. I’m adjusting well here again, but this time, I’m really hoping to find my true forever family.I can live with other dogs as long as they don’t mind a friend who can be a bit pushy sometimes. Small kids make me nervous, but teenagers are totally fine. Cats, though… yeah, they’re not for me.Now, I’ve got to be honest about one thing — I am highly food motivated. Like, really motivated. If it’s edible (and sometimes even if it’s not), I’m interested! Because I have very little self-control when it comes to snacks, my new family will need to help me keep my waistline in check. I’ll happily eat my way to a double chin if left to my own devices, and that’s just not great for a dog my age.If you’ve got a patient heart, a sense of humor, and a knack for portion control, I might just be your perfect companion. I’ve been waiting a long time for my forever — maybe it’s finally with you. 💛Requirements: Martingale Collar; Everyone In Home Must MeetAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Howdy, I’m Whiskey - a 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog, which basically means I’m a handsome speckled goofball with energy to spare and a big sweet heart to match. I’m always ready for fun, games, and - my absolute favorite - WALKS. Seriously, say the word and watch my ears do the happy pop-up. I’m great with kids, cats, and other dogs, so I’m pretty much the social butterfly of the dog world. Whether you want a trail buddy, a cuddle buddy, or a partner for neighborhood explorations, I’m your guy. I can’t wait to walk with you!!

Story
Ulti is being fostered in PA. Ulti is both BLIND and DEAF. Ulti/Glitch is doing well. Glitch is a confident social butterfly and has no fears. She loves to go anywhere she can interact with people and other animals. She walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys car rides. Glitch is currently learning how to crate, something she wasn't able to handle as a puppy and she is doing great with it. She uses a doggy door to go in and out for potty and yard time. Glitch absolutely loves children and is a very personable girl who also enjoys snuggling next to her people. She is not a high energy dog but would do well with an active family/person or a laid back quiet home as well. She is working on her touch commands and knows the sit, wait and come. Glitch is 37lbs and won't get any bigger. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
