Choo Choo is a six-month-old Catahoula mix who is now available for adoption. She came to us after a concerned citizen reported finding a crate containing two dogs abandoned near a dumpster outside her apartment complex. When our animal control officer arrived, both dogs were shivering, thin, and covered in feces and urine. Once in our care, Choo Choo began receiving vaccines, soothing baths, and a nutritious food plan to help her gain weight and recover. Thanks to the care and patience of our team, she has blossomed into a happy, playful puppy. Choo Choo loves going on walks, playing with our volunteers, and enjoying treat time—her tail wiggles nonstop with excitement. She does not do well with other animals and is requiring to be the only pet at this time. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. She is already fixed! Chugga Chugga is a six-month-old Catahoula mix who is now available for adoption. He came to us after a concerned citizen reported finding a crate containing two dogs abandoned near a dumpster outside her apartment complex. He is looking for a home with no other pets as he is not fond of other animals at this time. Chugga Chugga is ready to leave his rough start behind and find a loving family to grow up with. His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Story
Diesel was adopted last April in Lawrence, Kansas at just 8 weeks old from a humane society. The litter was 12 pups from a Catahoula Leopard mother, (given his brown merle coat). Diesel is now almost 11 months old and has his first birthday coming up on February 4th! We have all original birth documents, vet records, and microchip information. Currently, I am moving into a new job which will require travel to different states frequently. My mother is no longer willing to take care of him when I am not around. I dont want to do this, but I know this is whats best for him. Diesels traits: Very energetic, friendly, loving, confident, plays rough, can be reactive to different animals/people on walks Ideal home: Someone with an active lifestyle, spends time at home, has a family, space for him to run, commitment to training What I will provide: Vax records, food/toys/crate, guide to his favorite things

DINKLEY - SPRING ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Dinkley will need a special adopter. Someone that can care for his special needs. He is a 1.5 YRS old, 40 pound catahoula mix. He is very energetic and definitely needs help learning his puppy manners still. He is very, very smart. He enjoys wobble feeders, kongs, and puzzle toys. He has not been formally dog tested yet but we are happy to get that officially done, at a later date. After a few initial barks he settled down during a through-fence meeting. Dinkley is just a baby and deserves to live for as long as his heart will let him. Hopefully, he can live a long life with proper medical care! Dinkley has been diagnosed with possible Pulmonary Stenosis. It is under control and the vet feels he has a full life a head of him. He will need to see the cardiologist probably twice a year for follow up. His adoption fee is $50.
