Maryann needs a hero. Growing up in rescue is not living her "best life". She has not had it easy. She was adopted as a puppy, but when her dad got a new girlfriend, he decided that he couldn't be bothered with his dogs and so after a year, Maryann ended up back at the rescue. Now, she is hopeful that someone will see her sweet nature and beautiful colors and make her their newest family member.

Meet Sawyer! At approximately months old, Sawyer has already had quite a journey. This handsome boy showed up as a stray, frightened and alone. He was found cowering under a house, clearly terrified and completely lost. Despite every effort to find his family, no owner ever came forward, so now Sawyer is looking for the forever home he truly deserves. Our veterinarian believes Sawyer may be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and at about 55 pounds already, he's going to be a big, athletic boy! Sawyer has blossomed in foster care and is proving to be a wonderful companion. He is crate trained, knows the commands "sit," "down," and "stay," and has excellent house manners. He always takes care of his potty business when he goes outside. One thing that's become clear is that Sawyer was likely an indoor family dog before he was lost. He enjoys playing outside, tossing his toys into the air and chasing after them, but he doesn't like being left outside by himself. The moment he thinks his person is going inside without him, he'll race to the door, eager to be with his family. He loves toys and loves to take them outside to play with them. Sawyer is incredibly smart and observant. He quickly learns routines and pays close attention to everything happening around him. At bedtime, he settles quietly in his crate without a peep. In the morning, he patiently waits until he hears everyone else getting up before he's ready to start his day. This sweet, goofy boy has a playful side that will keep you smiling. He loves chasing bugs (as long as they aren't chasing him! 😊), and the frogs in his foster home's yard haven't had a moment's peace since Sawyer. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi but can be transported to you! She came to us with two babies and a pellet in her leg where someone shot her, but through it all she has shown incredible resilience and sweetness. She does need a warm-up period to feel safe, but once she trusts you, her loving nature shines. Meet Quinn! 🐾 Quinn is a 1-year-old bundle of happiness who is full of confidence, personality, and playful energy! This fun-loving girl is always ready for her next adventure and could happily spend all day playing. She loves her toys, especially the flirt pole, and can keep herself entertained even after a nice, long walk. She's a total goofball who is sure to bring plenty of laughter and fun to her new family! Quinn is also a smart and highly food-motivated pup who already knows her basic commands and is eager to keep learning. She's been doing very well on her walks and walks best with a harness. She's also making great progress with potty training, and her foster has found that she does wonderfully with a diaper when needed. When it comes to playtime, Quinn likes to have FUN—and she can be a little intense about it! She enjoys rough-and-tumble play and can sometimes come across as a little overwhelming to other dogs or people. She also has a funny habit of thinking that corrections are actually an invitation to keep playing, which can make training a bit challenging. She'll need a family who is patient, consistent, and ready to help her learn appropriate ways to interact while channeling all that enthusiasm into positive outlets. Quinn absolutely LOVES people, dogs, and cats.
