She has a medium energy level and would make a great addition to any family where she will deliver your love back tenfold. Daffodil is unstoppable; she loves to run, play and jump around, especially with other dogs. She loves to get her energy out but has no problem toning it down when asked, or when needed. She is so gentle with cats, small dogs and loves kids. There are no strangers on this earth that she wouldn’t want to love!  Daffodil is also mostly crate trained and fully house trained. She goes into the crate for a treat and may whine for a minute or two, but then settles. She walks well on a loose leash and knows several commands.Daffodil has many hobbies; she loves long walks around the neighborhood as long as you’re willing to carry her like the princess she is after a mile. She is an avid gamer and loves to support you by your side through any mission in her own gaming chair. Her favorite past times include cuddling, wrestling and having a good conversation. Story
Hey there, I'm Coffee! Now, don't be fooled by my name, I'm no caffeine jolt, just a curious gal who ended up here due to my insatiable curiosity. You see, I was living with a baker and one day, I decided to investigate the oven. I thought, 'Is it like a warm bed?' Well, nope! I caused a minor bread riot and well, here I am! But don't worry, I've learned my lesson - ovens are not for dogs. I promise to keep my nose out of trouble (and ovens) if you adopt me. I'll be your loyal companion, no loafing around!

Story
Marley has spent almost two years waiting for something most dogs are given without question — a home. Born around February, 2023, this strikingly handsome Catahoula mix boy has grown up in a shelter, watching the world move past him while he stays behind in a kennel run. It’s hard to understand how a dog so joyful, so loving, and so eager to connect has been overlooked for so long.  Maybe it's because he isn't in a big city where people frequent the local shelter looking a dog to love.  Marley is in a very rural ,out of the way shelter that few people come to. Marley is the kind of dog who lights up when someone notices him. He is friendly, social, and genuinely happy just to be included. He gets along well with other dogs and older children, and his favorite thing in the world is simply being part of the moment — whether that means splashing in water, running around outside, or settling in as your loyal couch companion. Time has softened Marley in the best ways. While he still has a playful spirit, he’s matured into a wonderfully balanced dog who knows how to enjoy both adventure and quiet companionship. He leans into affection, seeks out closeness, and gives love freely — the kind of love that feels steady, sincere, and deeply comforting. What Marley is missing isn’t training or potential — it’s belonging. He deserves a family who sees him not as another face in a kennel, but as a best friend waiting patiently for his turn. A home where he can stretch his legs, rest his head on your lap, and finally understand that he’s safe and chosen. Marley is sweet. He is beautiful. He is ready. He has already waited long enough. He deserves more than a kennel. He deserves mornings in a home, evenings with his head in your lap, and a life where he's finally chosen. If you're looking for a dog who will meet you with joy, loyalty, and an open heart every single day... Marley Is still at the shelter, still hoping, and still ready to go home. Even if all you can do is foster him while Critter Cavalry searches for a home, please consider the option to free him. All he needs is someone to look at him and say, you’re coming home with me. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Please consider Marley and changing his life from a kennel run to a soft dog bed laying at your feet. Don't hesitate to contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 26, 2026, 6:54 pm
