Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesLittle Bit Bit is such a fun girl! She is always down for a walk or a romp with another dog. When she gets tired of playing with the other dogs in the yard, she will lay down and watch them. She is very smart and pays attention to everything. She is an excellent car rider and loves going for rides. She is quiet in her crate and would probably be fine in an apartment with regular exercise.Little Bit Bit has played well with two small puppies and with a dog her size. She is not a very pushy player and respects when another dog does not want to play. She was overly fixated on the cats she met so would do best in a cat-free home. She has met young children and did well. She might bump into them by accident or try to jump up when she's excited, but she takes treats gently and allows kids to take toys from her.She will follow a treat or her food into the crate, settles very quickly with no accidents. She does not have accidents in the house either. She does need some more work on her leash manners. Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application.May 1, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
Looking do add a little Catahoula crazy to your life? Zoey is on the search for her very own forever home! Zoey is a ~4 year old Catahoula Leopard dog lady, looking for an active sport savvy family to be her people. Zoey is definitely still young and nutty at heart, her favorite go-to greeting is pogo stick jumping to give face kisses. She'd love to find a family willing to guide her in her continuing education, she could use a crash course on all the basic manners and skills. Being a Catahoula girl that came to us as a stray, we think she'd be best in a home with no cats or small animal friends. She loves to chase, and seems to have a natural hunting instinct when it comes to small critters. Zoey would do best as the only dog in your new home. She is very vocal and reactive when seeing other dogs, so will benefit from some continued training on how to coexist harmoniously around other animals. Luckily, she is VERY food motivated so that'll help in her future training endeavors.
