Story
We would like to introduce a very special rescue dog to all of you and her name is Pretty Pearl.  Her foster mom says that she has been through fire and back and now she has the character of beautiful PEARL, like in an oyster.  She has  been formed by adversity and yet her spirit is pure sweetness and love.  She has the markings and coloring of a Catahoula mixed with maybe a little Beagle which is what makes her all the more loving and easy going.  At about 5-6 years old and just a perfect medium size at just 40 pounds, she is the perfect companion to someone who lives in a smaller environment like an apartment or a townhouse. She truly has an endearing calmness and mellow approach to life and all the people around her notices this unique quality immediately.  Nothing ruffles her feathers at all.  I take it all in stride and just smooth the edges if needed and keep on going.  This girl is the perfect companion to someone that is in an apartment environment or a townhouse.  She is small, a couch potatoe that will most certainly be an outstanding companion during the winter months when life seems to slow down and cozy companionship is most desired and welcomed.  She was found living outside in horrible conditions and was full of ticks and fleas and very skinny.  Well soon she was introduced to the luxury of an inside lifestyle at her foster home and she has NEVER looked back.  She goes outside to do her potty breaks and rushes right back inside to keep her human fosters company.  Now, if you are outside with her then all is grand.  She is a skilled girl on a leash and if you want a hiking or walking buddy then Pearl is ready to go!   She has had NO accidents in the house since coming to the foster home.  Amazing statistics for a dog that lived outside all her life.  Maybe she truly just feels like being called “Queen” Pearl now.  She sure is being treated like a queen and she wants to stay in that kind of lifestyle.  We think Pretty Pearl will be a wonderful well-kept secret for someone looking for the best companion ever in the world. Pretty Pearl will be the best dog you have ever owned in your life. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com You won’t regret adopting this girl.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 7, 2024, 11:04 pm

Meet Dakota, This poor gorgeous girl is going to be killed if a hero isnt found in time. She is scared and wondering where her people went. She didn’t deserve this. The trauma these poor babies go through when being dumped and abandoned and watch their people turn their back and walk away, they never forget that feeling of abandonment. This baby does not deserve to have her life taken when she’s done nothing wrong. PLEASE HURRY TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Indie was adopted from a rescue at 6 months old (currently 4 years 4months). He is an extremely intelligent, high energy boy who loves to please his owner/handler! He is HIGHLY treat motivated which makes training easy. He is dog reactive and has been through a lot of training to work on good manners but still needs help working through his reactions. He currently goes to a daycare that works on his reactivity in a play environment but should be known that he would unlikely be accepted by daycares that do not have experience accommodating dogs with reactivity or an option for just people play. He is very loving and playful and his favorite is to be outside for plenty of sniffs!

Story
Meet Sampson! He is happy, bouncy, and super wiggly. Sampson loves to play and is full of energy so he would make a great companion for a hiker, runner, or just an admirer of the great outdoors. Lots of things make Sampson excited, so adopters should continue to train with him so he can learn how to settle and have quiet time. Kids in the home should be able to participate in training and unfazed by a bouncy pup and their goofy antics. If you think Sampson could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by MSPCA Northeast Animal Shelter. We have open adoption hours 11:30am-5pm daily - no appointment or application needed. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat areas will remain open to walk through.

**MEET ME AT OUR 12/14 ADOPTION EVENT IN QUINCY!**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesThelma is a polite, easy-going girl! She loves being around people dogs. Thelma's looking for a home that will embrace her legendary couch cuddles and laid-back personality. After a proper introduction, she gets along well with other pups of similar calmer energy. She is more interested in humans than playing with other pups, so she'd likely be fine with or without a canine sibling. Although she hasn't been around cats, her gentle personality would likely be fine with or without one in the home. Thelma has enjoyed meeting dog-savvy kids so far but hasn’t had exposure to younger ones yet. She can be a little nervous in new situations but is always happy to go on an adventure and meet a new friend, especially if they have treats!Thelma is perfect in her crate, as she is crated during the day and overnight without a peep. She is potty trained when kept on a regular schedule and routine. She walks very calmly and politely on the leash and is happy to snooze the day away after a morning stroll. Thelma is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be loved. Could she be the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted.
