Story
Meet staff & volunteer favorite: Kronk! This big sensitive boy needs time to get comfortable with new people, but after a proper introduction he loves to cuddle and play with his friends. He loves to snuggle up with his people, play outside, go on long strolls, and gaze out his foster home`s window. Kronk has spent time around carefully selected dog friends, and both in his history and in shelter has seemed to have a preference for calmer dogs with a polite play style. Kronk has never lived with kids, but this sweet guy has the potential to live with kids with a thoughtful approach to his introduction and ensurance from adults in the home that he is comfortable.

**EVENT DEPOSIT PENDING**Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: Yes (settles in under 5 minutes)House trained: Yes Daffodil has a wonderful personality and doesn’t let anything stop her. She will be both your shadow by your side and a ray of sunshine to help you through your woes. She has a medium energy level and would make a great addition to any family where she will deliver your love back tenfold. Daffodil is unstoppable; she loves to run, play and jump around, especially with other dogs. She loves to get her energy out but has no problem toning it down when asked, or when needed. She is so gentle with cats, small dogs and loves kids. There are no strangers on this earth that she wouldn’t want to love!  Daffodil is also mostly crate trained and fully house trained. She goes into the crate for a treat and may whine for a minute or two, but then settles. She walks well on a loose leash and knows several commands.Daffodil has many hobbies; she loves long walks around the neighborhood as long as you’re willing to carry her like the princess she is after a mile. She is an avid gamer and loves to support you by your side through any mission in her own gaming chair. Her favorite past times include cuddling, wrestling and having a good conversation. She is a very opinionated pup and will always have the last word with her adorable trills and grumbles. Could your family be the one she's been waiting for?*Daffodil is part of our Medical Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) Program for daily prescription medication to help her manage pain and inflammation. If you're interested in learning more, we will connect you with our Medical team to explain the process! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
**Foster or Adopter Needed for Tonks** Meet Tonks! A spirited six-and-a-half-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boston Terrier/Pitbull mix currently in Cutler, OH, whose essence is a bundle of energy, affection, and tail-wagging joy wrapped in a white coat speckled with black patches and spots. Tonks is a 55-pound snuggle enthusiast who lives for human connection, her personal motto might as well be, “I wanna be where my people are!” From the moment you wake up to her happy, wiggly greetings to the quiet, cozy nights when she curls up beside you on the couch, she is all about being your loyal love bug. While she thrives on play and physical activity, like romping around outside with her humans or solving a puzzle to uncover hidden treats, Tonks also treasures her chill time, especially on a cool floor or a soft dog bed after a good romp or brain game. Fully house-trained and crate-trained, Tonks knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, touch, kennel, and “park it” (her cue to settle in for bedtime). She’s a quick learner and responds especially well to positive reinforcement in a calm, structured environment. Tonks currently takes a daily dose of Fluoxetine to help support her confidence and manage anxiety. Many dogs benefit from this type of support, and in the right environment with structure and stability, her new family may be able to work with their veterinarian to reassess whether it is still needed. Because she loves so fiercely, Tonks thrives in a setting where she can be the star of the show and enjoy her people’s full attention. Her happiest and most relaxed environment is one where she can enjoy her people without the stress of sharing space with other pets. Like many intelligent and observant dogs, Tonks can be alert to outside activity such as passing dogs, delivery trucks, or unfamiliar visitors. With structure and guidance, she settles well and thrives in a calm, predictable home environment. Tonks comes with an incredible support system to help set her and her future family up for success. Her adoption fee and professional training are fully sponsored. For local adopters, this includes hands-on support from a trusted local dog training service. For adopters outside the area, her current family is still happy to sponsor training, with the adopter selecting a qualified trainer, or working together with the family to find a great fit. Whether she’s working on a Kong puzzle, chewing a favorite bone, or melting into your lap for some well-earned cuddles, Tonks is ready to give her next family endless affection, devotion, and plenty of joyful moments!
