Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. Story
Meet me by appointment at Choice Pet at 1936 Route 6, Carmel, NY 10512 on 6/3/23 Oh, who to choose? Some have speckles, some have patches making each one of these pups just as beautiful as the next! They are happy, bouncy pups full of silly puppy antics. With great personalities, an endless amount of love and snuggles to share what's not to love! Our best guess is that they will be about 50ish pounds when all grown up.

These pups are in Beacon, New York too!

Story
Strikingly beautiful GERTRUDE (or TRUDY) is a gem. She is a leggy girl known as a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Super smart, loyal, and affectionate, TRUDY is an active dog, so her perfect companion(s) would be active, too - runners, joggers, hikers, anyone who loves to break a sweat. Hiking Mt. Beacon is TRUDY’S fav! She has been working very hard on her manners and learns new commands astonishingly quickly. She is also a big snuggle bug who loves massages and thinks she can fit on your lap! She has the cutest way of putting her head under your arm for cuddles when you sit with her. TRUDY is 3 years old, house trained, up-to-date on all her shots and currently weighs 45 lbs. TRUDY likes some other dogs, though not cats or other small animals.

Story
I am 20 weeks old! My mom is a Scruffy Terrier mix and dad was a Black and Tan Coonhound mix. I am a fun loving happy go lucky hound pup! I am currently in a home with other foster dogs and a cat. I am very well socialized with all sizes of dogs. I do great with crate training, but my fosters use a Xpen so that I can be with my siblings. I do well with potty training, but I will have to be reminded about it all in a new home. I love playing with other dogs and don't get too rough when I do. I would love a home with lots of room to run or lots of activity. Right now, he is being fostered in Tennessee. The rescue lists in areas where transport is available. They use safe USDA licensed dog transports that will bring him to their new family, once they are adopted! Once you send an application, the rescue will contact you for an interview and be able to send more photos and even videos He is neutered and UTD on all required vaccinations. He is microchipped and on flea preventative. Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information.
