A young Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, A J is estimated to be just under a year old (as of April 2024). He was found as a stray in a nearby county, but in spite of wearing a harness when found, he was never claimed. He has shown himself to be a calm, relaxed dog who loves to play with balls and a rope pull.This beautiful dog with unusual markings walks easily on the leash and seems to be agreeable to most anything - active or quiet. Because we have not had A J with us very long, we are still assessing his temperament and doggy skills knowledge. Please check back for updates as we learn more. Paisley is a beautiful Catahoula Hound girl weighing about 53 pounds and probably born 2018. She lived on a logging chain in the elements with NO SHELTER. When her person died she came to rescue. She got her vaccinations, Heartworm and Tickborne testing, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, ears medicated, nails trimmed, etc... Miraculously NEGATIVE for Heartworms, but treated for tickborne. Paisley is super sweet and affectionate, high energy , EXTREMELY playful, crate and house trained, wants CONSTANT human companionship. Paisley can climb 6 foot fences, but not if there are coyote rollers. Paisley would do best as an only dog because while she loves other dogs and is playful, she does not like sharing toys and has been known to "squabble" over toys. Shadow is a two year old male Catahoula-Pitt mix born January 13, 2022. He grew up with a 10 year old girl, adult man and adult woman. He loves to play, eat, fetch. He's even able to throw his toy at you to let you know he wants to play! He LOVES to get exercise by running as fast as he can or fetching his balls or sticks. But he's not too proud to spend the day napping with his buddy either! He loves people but does best with structure and order. He is good with kids but the more familiar he is the better he is. He doesn't have experience with other pets and should not be alone with other animals. He is food motivated so that's the best way for him to learn and have fun doing it. Favorites: ice, bananas,peanut butter or bacon treats

My name is Winnie and I am a loving 7 year old, 50 pound girl that is a beautiful Hound breed called a Tree Walker.   I was found as a stray in the middle of a rural highway and I am such a soft and gentle girl that loves to lay around and sleep and just be an easy couch potato friend. PRETZEL Sweet adorable goofy middle aged Coonhound, Pretzel, was recently rescued SKINNY, Heartworm and Tick Disease positive. She has been treated for all, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She has shown that she has pretty good indoor manners. She walks nicely on a leash. She loves everyone and everything. She will destroy a tennis ball. She wants so badly to be someone's loved companion. She was probably born in 2015 or 2016 and is now a healthy, shiny, beautiful 62 pounds.
