Story
Volt is being fostered in NC. Volt has some vision. update Volt is doing well! He lives for cuddles at night before going to bed in his crate. During the day he has one speed and that is lightning fast. His favorite treat is carrots and he will do anything for them but lay down, lol. He has a pretty good recall and knows sit. He is fully potty trained and goes to the back door when he needs to go out. He plays so gently with his foster mom's mini aussies and rough and tumble with Elektra (corso) and Trigger (lab). Volt had some grand mal seizures that were caused by Simparica Trio. These lasted about 3 weeks with lingering focal seizures. He is still on keppra and he's doing great! He has not had any seizures in the last 3 months. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately

Story
Wrangler is being fostered in PA.Wrangler has some limited vision.Wrangler here with an update on me, foster Mommy said I had to do it since they did some new tests on me. First, I am a big boy at almost 1.5 years old now! Anyway, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD) which they are treating with low fat food and watching my diet. Also, my B12 is low so foster Mommy gives me a shot every 3 weeks. I do great with the shot, she gives it while I am eating and I could care less cause I just want my food lolAlso, something that goes with the IBD thingy is anxiety and I try, but am scared of new things. I like to go slow meeting new ones. I can’t tell my foster Mommy why, but I’m scared of men. We are working on all this. I am great at home and I don’t do anything in the house when foster Mommy leaves because I have other doggies I am with. So as long as I am not alone, I am ok. We are trying Prozac to see if this will help relax me enough to get over my fears because I am a sweetie, really! And, I just love cuddling on the couch with foster Mommy and sleeping in bed with her. Even though I can stretch out and take up leg room at times hee heeBDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Meet Koda! Koda is about 2-3 years old. We don't know what he is, but he has catahoula markings and eye coloring! He found himself looking for a home along with Phoenix after their owner passed away. They are not bonded and can be adopted separately. While he's a bigger boy, he is low energy. He can be playful but is very content being a couch potato. He enjoys sniffing around and walks well on leash! He LOVES rolling around on his back :) Koda enjoys getting pets and is a gentle and sweet boy. If his environment becomes overwhelming, he will sit in a quieter area and relax and then rejoin. For this reason, boisterous kids may be a bit overwhelming for him. He is good with dogs and (non-boisterous) kids. We do not know about cats at this time.

Story
Mia - medium, catahoula leopard mix After raising her babies and giving them the very best start in life, this sweet 3-year-old mama dog is finally ready for something she’s never truly had… a home of her very own. She has the gentlest soul and a heart full of quiet love. While she’s done an amazing job being a devoted mom, now it’s her turn to be cared for, spoiled, and cherished. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming, happy to stay close by your side, and absolutely melts for soft pets and kind words. Mama has a calm, easygoing nature and would thrive in a peaceful home where she can relax, explore, and just be a dog again. One of her biggest wishes? A fenced-in yard where she can safely roam, stretch her legs, and enjoy the simple joys of sunshine and fresh air. She’s the kind of companion who will quietly follow you around, keep you company on the couch, and look at you with those grateful eyes that say, “Thank you for choosing me.” Momma Mia is potty trained and does well with other calm dogs. However, she has not been cat tested yet. After giving so much love to her puppies, she’s more than ready to receive that same love in return. And once she knows she’s safe, her sweet personality truly shines. Mia is being fostered in Woodstock IL and has an adoption fee of $500. To meet Mia, please fill out an application at Tinypawssmalldogrescue.com or contact Sara at sara.sigrist@comcast.net or 224-600-2547.
