She loves staying active, especially swimming, running outside, and going for walks. She knows sit, shake, and lay down, and while she can get a little jumpy when excited, she settles in after burning off some energy. She has even been around cows and enjoyed trying to herd them. Meet Bella the Catahoula Mix ***** Fostered in Franklin, Wi ***** Bella is an adorable 4 month old, female, catahoula mix. She has a beautiful leopard print coat and the prettiest eyes! She currently weighs 21 pounds and we expect her to be a medium-sized adult. Bella found herself in a tough situation when she was abandoned with her sister, Fluffy, in rural Texas. She was rescued by a Good Samaritan and brought to the shelter. She is excited to come to Wisconsin and have her very own family. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is working on her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI as she is just a young puppy. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
