Story
Petey loves pets and cuddles. He enjoys a good toy to chew on and chasing animals outside. Doesn't mind to go on a walk but can't go for long. He will cuddle, play with a toy, or sleep. If he has another dog companion he will try to play. Petey's ideal home is with another dog to play with but mainly with people who are able to give him attention and cuddle. When being disciplined he can cower and let out a small tinkle but he is house broken.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Dawson!  I was picked up with my family by a few good people who found us on the highway. They brought us to rescue, where I have been looking for my forever home.  I’m a friendly, happy boy who loves everyone I meet — dogs included! I get so excited to see my people that sometimes I bounce up to say hello, but it’s only because I’m so excited to be loved. I’ve got a sweet personality, a goofy side, and I’m always ready to make new friends. Even though I get excited, I have a sweet nature and just want to be close to my people. Going into a new home, I will need some minor training on showing me how to be potty trained. I like toys, playing with the other dogs in my run, and meeting new people.  Due to my breed, I will need regular brushing and grooming. My adoption fee is $400. I am neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, 4dx negative and current on proheart 12 and bravecto. I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts because of state regulations. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly.
