**Meet Charlie – Your New Best Friend!** Let us introduce you to the very sweet and cuddly **Charlie**! **Charlie is being fostered in Markham**. Charlie recently arrived from Mexico and is doing wonderfully as he adjusts to his new life in Canada. He was surrendered to a shelter in Mexico by a woman who could no longer care for him, and now this lovable boy is searching for the forever family he truly deserves. Charlie is a **French Poodle mix**, approximately **3 years old** and weighing about **17 pounds**. He is a healthy little guy, and our veterinarian has confirmed that he is in great condition. Charlie is **vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative**. His foster family describes him as **adorable, calm, affectionate, and incredibly loving**. Charlie absolutely loves being petted and will gently let you know when he would like more attention! While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long before he warms up and wants to be by your side—especially if belly rubs and cuddles are involved. Charlie gets along very well with other dogs and is currently being fostered with two canine companions. He is also wonderful with people and children, making him an excellent family dog. His easygoing personality would even make him a great choice for a first-time dog owner. Charlie is considered low to medium energy. One of Charlie's favorite activities is simply snuggling with his humans. He enjoys being close to his people and soaking up all the love and affection he can get. He would be so happy if one of his family members are home most of the time. Charlie is a good walker and thoroughly enjoys his daily strolls – he walks great on leash and no reactivity when meeting other dogs and people on his walks – he is such a good boy! His house training is good, with only a one or two accidents as he continues to settle into his new environment. As a poodle mix, he has minimal shedding, which is an added bonus for many families. A home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal, but it is not required. If the yard is not fenced, Charlie will simply need to be kept on a leash when outdoors. Although he enjoys the company of other dogs, he does not need another dog in the home to be happy. He is not cat tested. Charlie has so much love to give and is ready to share it with a family of his own. If you think this sweet, gentle boy would be a wonderful addition to your family, please apply to adopt him today. **Charlie is waiting patiently for his forever home—perhaps it's with you. Come meet this special little guy and give him the loving future he so deserves.** ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Story
Meet Claus! At approximately 3 years old and 25 lbs, Claus is a medium-sized Poodle with one very important mission in life: to make as many friends as possible. Humans? Love them. Visitors? Amazing. Strangers on walks? Future best friends, obviously. Claus is equal parts sweetheart and lovable goofball. He knows his basic commands and is eager to please, but he approaches life with an enthusiasm that's impossible not to smile at. He's still working on his manners—particularly remembering that not everyone wants a fluffy pair of front paws placed on them as an enthusiastic greeting. The Ultimate Walking Partner (and Co-Pilot!) One thing you should know about Claus: this boy is incredibly passionate about his walks and has a high energy level. He may not know the word "walk" yet, but the moment he sees his leash, he transforms into a one-dog circus act. Expect excited spins, happy hops, dramatic play bows, and impressive acrobatics worthy of an Olympic routine. Because of his high energy, he requires frequent walks to keep that big brain and athletic body happy. He loves exploring the neighborhood, sniffing every intriguing scent, and stopping to say hello to anyone willing to admire his curly good looks. And of course, there are the zoomies—those joyful bursts of energy that serve as a reminder that life is meant to be enjoyed! But the adventure doesn't stop at the sidewalk—Claus absolutely loves car rides! Whether you're heading to the pet store or going on a grand road trip, he is the ultimate, enthusiastic co-pilot, ready to watch the world go by from the passenger seat. Home Life & Adaptability Don't let his high-energy walks fool you; Claus is highly adaptable when it comes to his living space. Thanks to his polite indoor habits, he is perfectly suitable for a house, a condo, or an apartment—as long as he gets his routine outdoor exercise, he's happy to curl up anywhere! His tiny nub of a tail may not have much range of motion, but he makes up for it with full-body enthusiasm when you get home. He can experience some separation anxiety, so he'll do best with a patient family willing to help him continue building confidence and independence. In return, Claus offers unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a constant reminder to celebrate the simple things in life. The Complete Package The good news? Claus is already house trained, knows his basic commands, and is eager to learn. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and a family committed to helping him continue polishing his manners and burning off his energy, he'll make an incredible companion. Claude is being fostered in Toronto. ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details!
