Meet Luke 🐾 Luke is a tiny 5.5-pound senior sweetheart who is about 10 years old and looking for a calm, understanding home to spend his golden years. He may be small, but he has a big personality and bonds deeply with the adults he trusts. Luke does best in a quiet, adult-only home. He is not comfortable around young children and can be reactive to other dogs, so he would thrive as an only dog. That said, with very slow and careful introductions, he has gotten along with a few other calm dogs in the past. As an older pup, Luke has a few special considerations. He sometimes has indoor potty accidents and is starting to lose some of his vision, which can make him a bit fearful in unfamiliar situations. Handling-sensitive tasks—especially toenail trims—are stressful for him, and he does best with patience and gentleness. Despite his fears, Luke is a loving companion who enjoys the company of adults and appreciates a predictable routine. He is best suited for someone experienced with small or senior dogs who can offer a peaceful environment, understanding, and lots of reassurance. Story
Leo is a loving, affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people. He’s happiest with snuggles, leisurely walks, and his favorite toys. Leo is easygoing day to day and content to spend much of his time relaxing and napping, but he is always up for an adventure. He really is the best dog. Leo was rescued from the Atlanta humane Society in 2019, and has been one of the brightest spots in our family ever since. He had a great grasp of basic commands (sit, wait, down, drop it, ect), and thrives with the right support and environment. Recently our family has grown, and Leo doesnt like babies. Leo would do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide structure and consistency. Leo currently takes daily Prozac to help manage his anxiety with the big changes in his life, but might be able to ween off in better circumstances. He selective about his dog friends and gets along well with some girl dogs. He would do best in a home with no other dogs, or a well socialized lady dog

Story
Hello, everyone. We have had a family member who has stepped up to help. It might not be a good solution but we need some time to find out. Feel free to leave your contact info if you are still interested and we will let you know when he becomes available. Jelly Bean is a very playful, intelligent, almost two-year-old poodle with lots of personality. He learns quickly. He is affectionate and gets along well with other small dogs and children. He dislikes being bored and can get anxious and into mischief when left alone for long periods of time. My husband and I travel a lot and our work days are long and Jelly Bean ends up being alone a lot which is not ideal. He needs a lot more attention than we can give him and would do best in a family where there are other dogs and people around him the majority of the time.
