Story
Mary Jane is approximately four and a half years old and she has been with us since she was nine months. We have two kids (ages 6 and 9) and she does great with them, but she is anxious around other kids. She is very sweet with us. She likes to play fetch and go on hikes and is a great running partner. She is smart, has completed obedience training, and is crate trained. She is nervous when meeting other dogs but does fine at the dogsitter's home with other dogs after she gets a few minutes to warm up. She previously lived with a friendly dog and did great. She has become territorial in/around our home with our kids' friends, strangers, and visitors (barking, jumping) and needs more socialization training than we can offer her. She will come with her beds and crate. We are willing to waive the fee and pay for a home visit with a trainer to get her acclimated to a new home. We just want a good home and family for her that gives her the attention and patience that she deserves.

Story
Kiva is a 1 year old rescue in search of an active home with a large yard. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, hi-five, leave it). She does well with other dogs and would benefit from living with another dog. She is highly food motivated with a prey drive, so she would benefit from a house without infants or small children. She is not food or leash reactive and enjoys meeting new people. She enjoys long walks, squirrels, bones, and her emotional support Kong. She is house trained and is still working on not jumping on people. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and is microchipped. Please email or submit an application if interested!

Story
Elmer is a sweet, silly, loving guy! He;s had lots of positive obedience training (stay, sit, down, heel, loose leash walking, hand targeting, etc) and really wants to please! He’s a good leash walker and prefers a slower on-leash pace that allows him to smell all the roses. House trained and good in a crate as well, non destructive when left out. Cuddly, loves playing with toys with his people! A+ at fetch and tug! Elmer is very nervous around other dogs and needs a home where he can be the only dog. He currently lives with two large dogs kept mostly separated and so takes 2 inexpensive (total about $20/month at Costco) medications to help manage his anxiety. It;s possible he would not need the meds once he was fully settled into a new only-dog home. Although he needs to live without other dogs, he’s not barky or lunge-y when he sees them out on leash! If you’re looking for a cuddly, walk and playtime ride-or-die, Elmer could be your guy!

Story
I got Harvey as a puppy from the humane society. He's about 8-9 years old now. We've had lots of adventures but I can't keep him anymore. He needs a home the has time for him has space for him because he doesn't really like apartments, a yard would be best for him. He needs a home that has time for him he gets very anxious alone and will try and make a little mess at home. I want the person or persons that he lives with the be financially able to take good care of him. If you are looking for a dog that will give you all the love in the world and have a happy silly face all the time he's great at that. He's really smart but sometimes too smart for his own good. He can be taught tasks and tricks he knows some, if you have the time and dedication to teach him.

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Wizard Waverly! This charming little 10-pound Chiweenie may have a magical name, but his greatest spell is how quickly he can steal your heart. At just 3 years old, Wizard Waverly is a bright, curious, and affectionate pup who’s learning what it means to be loved and cared for. Wizard came to us from a heartbreaking situation — a home with over 30 dogs living in unsafe conditions. Thanks to the efforts of multiple rescues (including ours!), Wizard and his friends finally got their chance at a better life. Despite his rough start, Wizard’s resilience shines through every day. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and making great progress learning to use the doggy door. He’s still working on his leash training, but he’s such a smart boy that he’s picking it up quickly! Wizard loves toys, especially ones he can chase or squeak, and he’ll happily entertain himself or join in a play session with his humans. Wizard can be a bit shy and skittish when meeting new people or encountering new situations — understandable given his past — but once he feels safe, his sweet, snuggly side shines. He loves attention, gentle pets, and being close to his trusted people. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to give Wizard Waverly the safe forever home he deserves, this little guy will reward you with endless love and loyalty. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Wrigley Westbrook! Say hello to Wrigley Westbrook, a 1-year-old, 6-pound Chiweenie with a big zest for life packed into a tiny body! This cheerful little guy has come a long way since being rescued from a home with more than 30 dogs living in very poor conditions. Thanks to the teamwork of several rescues (including ours!), Wrigley finally has the chance to enjoy the happy, healthy life he deserves. Wrigley is housebroken, crate-trained, and learning how to use the doggy door like a champ. He’s still figuring out this whole leash-walking thing, but with his sharp mind and eagerness to please, he’s catching on quickly. One of Wrigley’s favorite things in the world is playing outside — whether he’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or just soaking up the sunshine, this little adventurer loves fresh air and freedom. While Wrigley may be a bit timid when meeting new people, once he knows you’re a friend, his sweet personality shines through. He’s affectionate, silly, and loyal, and he loves nothing more than curling up next to someone he trusts after a fun day of play. Wrigley Westbrook is ready to find a forever family who will show him patience, kindness, and all the love he’s been waiting for. In return, he’ll give you a lifetime of tail wags and heart-melting smiles. Interested in becoming a forever home for Wrigley?
