Hi, I’m Jess!
I’m a 36-pound Goldendoodle who is about 2 years old, and I’m a smart, playful girl with lots of personality. I already know several commands, including sit, lay down, shake and spin. Spinning is actually one of my specialties! When I’m excited about dinner, going outside, or heading out for an adventure, you may see me happily spinning in circles. I’m treat and toy motivated, which makes training with me fun and rewarding.
I have a good amount of energy and love getting out for walks, playing fetch, and running and playing with other dogs. I’ve previously lived with larger doodles and enjoyed having canine friends to play with. I can sometimes be an enthusiastic playmate, so another friendly, tolerant dog with a compatible play style could be a great companion for me. I’m looking for a cat-free home and would do best with children 9 and older.
One of the most important things to know about me is that I form a very strong bond with my person. I love following my favorite human from room to room, being included in daily life, going along for errands and adventures, and relaxing nearby when we’re out together. Being away from my person can be challenging for me, so I’m looking for a home where someone is around most of the time or can include me in their daily activities. I’ve also done well having a calm canine companion with me when my person needs to be away.
I’m also a quick and curious girl who needs a family committed to keeping me safe. When I see an open door I sometimes run through it and am very fast, so I should always be leashed unless I’m in a secure, fenced area. With regular exercise, continued positive training, plenty of enrichment, and a person who understands how deeply I bond, I have so much love and fun to bring to my future home.
My adoption fee is $295 and I'm spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
