Story
Smores is an 11 week old female puppy, who along with her sister and mother were dumped in CA. The mother, who is a Chihuahua mix, has been adopted, leaving Smores and her sister, Hershey (also posted on Adopt a pet) looking for a wonderful home. Smores is a very sweet little girl who loves to snuggle. She also loves to play and chew on bully sticks. In her foster home Smores is learning to do her business outside. This will continue to need work once Smores is in her forever home until she learns where she should be doing her business. Smore's adoption fee includes being spayed, microchipped, and current shots at Homeward Bound Spay/Neuter Clinic in McMinnville. Because she is a puppy Smores will only be placed in a home where there is a fenced yard and where her people are home more often than not. If you are interested in adopting Smores, please respond with information about you/your family; what other pets you have; how Hershey will fit into your life.

Story
Hershey and Smores are two 11 week old puppies that were dumped in CA along with their mother (pictured). These two girls are very loving and sweet and it would be wonderful if they would be adopted together. If a wonderful home would be found for the girls together, their adoption fee would total $500 which would include them getting spayed and microchipped at Homeward Bound Spay Neuter Clinic in McMinnville. The perfect home for them would be one with a fenced yard with adopters that are home more often than not. A meet and greet in a potential adopter's home will take place before Hershey and Smores are permanently placed. If you are interested in adopting one or both of these girls, please respond with information about you/your family; what other pets you have; how these puppies will fit into your home.

Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Ruby is the funniest, sweetest bundle of energy you will ever meet! She loves nothing more than showing you her toys, playing tug of war, and then rolling over for a good belly rub. She loves to run laps in the backyard and chase all the birds and other wildlife. But most importantly - she loves a good cuddle - especially under the covers in your bed! It seems like this cutie girl had a tough upbringing before she was rescued. She is very scared of new people (especially men) and will bark loudly and attempt to hide. We recommend very slow intros with new dogs and since chasing cats has been enjoyable for her, we're recommending a cat-free home for this girl. Ruby absolutely thrives on a consistent schedule. She does not do well being alone for long periods. She doesn’t mind being in the fenced backyard or in her outdoor doghouse - but, again, wants nothing more than being with her people. Ruby would be the most successful with someone who could give her consistent training.

Story
I believe Irwin would do best in a quiet home with at least two people, ideally one of whom works from home. I also think he would probably do best living with at least one other dog to help him build confidence. I love him, but cannot give him what he needs and am willing to rehome him to the right situation for him to thrive. Irwin has separation anxiety, which he is currently on medication for. I adopted Irwin from Multnomah County Animal Services in November 2025. He was found in a trailer with 5 other dogs. He has some anxiety around meeting new people when on leash and seems more comfortable and quicker to warm up to new people off leash especially if they go slowly and have treats. He has been friendly with visitors to my home. He loves other dogs and will play chase and also gently wrestle. He does not appear to guard resources and accepts redirection.

Story
Leo is a loving, affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people. He’s happiest with snuggles, leisurely walks, and his favorite toys. Leo is easygoing day to day and content to spend much of his time relaxing and napping, but he is always up for an adventure. He really is the best dog. Leo was rescued from the Atlanta humane Society in 2019, and has been one of the brightest spots in our family ever since. He had a great grasp of basic commands (sit, wait, down, drop it, ect), and thrives with the right support and environment. Recently our family has grown, and Leo doesnt like babies. Leo would do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide structure and consistency. Leo currently takes daily Prozac to help manage his anxiety with the big changes in his life, but might be able to ween off in better circumstances. He selective about his dog friends and gets along well with some girl dogs. He would do best in a home with no other dogs, or a well socialized lady dog
