Story
Keiko and Kai are sweet and loving 4-year-old Cavapoos who have been part of our family since puppyhood. They are affectionate, playful, intelligent, energetic, and love being around people and spending time with the family. Rehoming Keiko and Kai is an extremely difficult decision for us. Our family circumstances have changed significantly after recently welcoming a newborn, and we want to make sure they continue to receive the time, attention, exercise, and affection they deserves Keiko and Kai are crate and housetrained, good with children and other dogs and enjoy walks, playing, cuddling, playing fetch. They are neutered and up to date on vaccinations,  with no know medical issues. We are looking for a loving, responsible, and stable home where Keiko and Kai will be treated as part of the family. Ideally, his new home will have the time to provide plenty of companionship, regular exercise, playtime, and affection and can keep both of them together

She is a partially blind senior dog. She is quiet and calm and needs to be with people. She does not lick people and is pretty clean overall. She doesn't shed and needs to be cared for inside a home.

Story
We inherited this dog from my mom. She just passed in January. She never took the time to potty train him. While she was sick we had other family here to take care of her and they almost got him potty trained but now we are not at home most of the day. We have another dog that is quite rambunctious but they get along well. We are trying to sell a house that we inherited and are now paying for 2 houses and cannot keep up with the potty accidents. We are not home most of the day so we cannot potty train him or spend time with him at this point. He is very timid but usually gets along with people after a bit. He has never bitten anyone or growled at anyone. I believe he is lapsed about a month on shots though I cannot be certain as my mom did not keep the records. They originally got him from the SPCA in McKinney and I believe are the 3rd owner but that SPCA location is now closed.

Story
Perry’s foster family reports that he has been the easiest houseguest! He is now ready to begin searching for his forever home. Perry is a calm and easygoing dog. He spends most of his day lounging around, but he will also engage in play time. He loves playing with toys and will sometimes try to play with another small dog. He is an independent boy, but when he wants attention, he’s not shy to show it. He will gently put his front two legs up and soak in all the pets he can. He also has the best house manners, as he is quiet, potty trained, and kennel trained. Perry could go to a home as an only dog or with another small calm dog(s) who matches his energy level. He is not a good fit for children under high school age. His current foster home doesn’t have cats, but the area we rescued him from has plenty, so he may be fine with cats. Perry is a 2 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle/Miniature Schnauzer mix weighing 14.8 lbs. If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2807318##
